Review of J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology.

Placements: Our college organises proper departmental placement drives every year in which various top companies are invited. Aroound 85% of students get placed through thi drive. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA to 11 LPA and the lowest salary package is 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are T-series, Zee Media, Tv9 Bharat Varsha, and in print media are Pioneer, Amar Ujala, Hindustan, etc. Every student in our course gets internships through the dedicated training and placement office. Top roles offered in our course are public relations executive, content creation executive, anchor, sub-editor, and reporter.

Infrastructure: Communication and media technology department is fulfilled with all the needed facilities and amenities such as smart boards for interactive study, a state-of-the-art studio for the practical exposure of the media students, Wi-Fi is free for all the students, and a departmental library that provides peaceful and distraction less study experience to students. Hostels available for students are not very good but the management has started renovation process of the hostels. Canteen is good. Medical facilities are available for every student. Sports are an integral part of the university managed by the dedicated sports department.

Faculty: All the faculty members in our department are experienced, knowledgeable, and have doctorate degrees in their subject. They create a very good environment in the classrooms. The course curriculum is very relevant to make students professionals. Equal emphasis is given to practical exposure and theoretical knowledge. It makes students industry ready before their placements. Semester exams are not difficult to qualify for every regular student.

Other: I chose this course because of my passion to work in electronic media. Culmyca is the biggest joint annual fest of all the departments of the university for which Bollywood celebrities and Punjabi singers are invited to match the vibe of the fest.
