Management is not good, otherwise it’s fine.
Placements: 27 students are there in M.Com with 7 of them being in the marketing and others in finance. 4 lacs per annum in hand salary is the highest placement package offered by Deloitte. Deloitte and PWC are the top recruiting companies. 90% students got internships. Auditor and Relationship Manager are the top jobs offered.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, library and labs are good but there is no wifi available for the students. Benches in the classrooms are not very comfortable. Canteen is also not available in the campus. I stay in a flat so I do not have any idea about the hostel which is located off-campus. Eateries are not easily available for the studenst.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. Some of the faculty members sare amazing but they do not teach to the fullest, they need to work hard by giving more time for internships rather than focusing more on the theoretical portion. The exams are difficult. Passing percentage is 90%. Since it is affiliated to Jadavpur university, paper is checked in the university and questions are also set there only, so it is neither too difficult nor too easy to clear the exams.
Other: I chose this course because i love marketing. We get to do market research and understand things at personal level.
More practical studies with images and videos can be used while teaching.

The Jdbian experience of 5 years - curriculum, feels, placements and more.
Placements: There are ample placement opportunities for the college students. The starting package can be around 2LPA to 6LPA. Big names like Deloitte, EY, etc. Are a part of the recruitment drive. Several other reputed companies also recruit students from our college. Internship is a mandatory part of the curriculum therefore, all students get to experience it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is up-to-date. Classes are wi-fi enabled with projectors and whiteboards. Additional, classrooms are compact and just right for the class strength of the college. Library has also necessary resources and students have the option of placing order from any important book that is available. Canteen has improved a lot over the recent years. Basic medical facility is available for students in college. The utility store is very useful for anything you need be it snacks or stationery. Xerox facility is also available in the utility store. There are 2 computer labs in the college.
Faculty: Overall the teaching-learning process at the college is good. If you are actually willing to learn there is no lack of resources or teachers. Everyone is there to help given you want to take some efforts and show genuine interest. The course curriculum has been updated and CBCS pattern is being followed. New mentor-mentee programme has also been implement. The semester exams are moderate difficult. In the masters level, exams focus more on testing conceptual clarity than wrote learning.
Other: The batch size for masters programme is small usually around 30 students. Due to the lockdown our batch missed the experience of fests. But events and workshops are organized every now and then on important days. Few clubs are there in the college in which you can participate. The college takes part in fests so you can be a part of it too. In the college area you will find PGs to stay in if you are an outstation student.

Placements: Most of the seniors were well placed on campus. We were offered compulsory internships by the college some of which were converted to permanent jobs. The companies that visited our institute for placements were Bajaj Capital, Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital and many others. The institute has a separate placement cell. We get updates about the new internships and placements offered to us every month by the cell.
Infrastructure: The academic building has numerous classrooms for the students. All the rooms are well furnished and air-conditioned, and a projector is available in every classroom. Wi-Fi facility is available on every floor. There are well-equipped computer and design labs, and an efficiently working library with numerous categories of books and journals. The institute consists of a well maintained and clean canteen that provides the students with various food items. We have highly hygienic washrooms. There is a special utility store that provides all the essentials and daily use products including toiletries, stationaries and snacks. There is a sick room as well for the students. We have an examination centre and a students liaison cell. The college focuses on many environmental projects and also has a tie-up with the NSS helping hands.
Faculty: The institute has well-qualified faculty members, and many of them have great knowledge of their specialised subjects. The teachers are very helpful and always available for the students. The teaching techniques include presentations, projects, journals, term papers etc. We do have industrial visits every semester. We had recently been to Keventers and Pepsico industries for visits. The course curriculum is indeed very useful as we have more practical knowledge which is useful.

Jadavpur University is known for its super affordable fees. For most standard undergraduate programs, the total fee is just about INR 7,200–9,600, spread over three or four years.
