Our college provides good placements, facilities and infrastructure but teachers are below average.
Placements: Roles offered were as a data analyst, IT manager, developer, tester, manager, web designer, desk support, network administrator, business analyst, IT director, engineer, support executive, and web analyst. Some other roles offer in our course were app developer, technical support, technical sales, and technical consultants.
Infrastructure: The hostel was not located within the campus. It was a few kilometers away from college, but it was good. I didn't stay at the college hostel, so I don't know much about it. The infrastructure of the college was average. It was a normal building that consists of all facilities within it.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were not updated with the latest technology. They were helpful but not knowledgeable as per the standards of the college. Teachers were biased toward their students. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready as the faculty members of our course were disappointing.
Other: I wanted to join IT, and therefore I joined this college. There was nothing best about the course. I wouldn't suggest anyone join the computer course at this college. Faculty members need a complete makeover to make this course work better for all. The curricular activities held were fine.

The college is best to socialize and prepare urself for the future.
Placements: There will be 100% assistance in the Jain college as the animation industry is the fastest growing industry. There are many jobs, so even the placement department will continuously update you through emails whenever the opening is there from companies.
Infrastructure: As the Jain college is best at its infrastructure, so it's around 8 floors building whereas the animation is at 4th floor and we have a quadrangle in the third floor where some events are done, and for official parties, we have an auditorium the college have no problem with the parking.
Faculty: The course is for two years whereas the specialisation is taken in the 3rd semester till then we have common subjects like storyboards Maya ae flash and all and faculty are all experienced, and we have guest faculty who are still working for VFX and animations.
Other: We have many events and fests where even other colleges are invited we have fest called Elina which is very good. The campus surroundings are bit crowded.

Pretty cool experience in Jain University.
Placements: The maximum salary offered was around 8 lakhs per annum. My senior get placed on Google. some Deloitte, Concentrix, Wipro, Xerox, Honeywell, etc., are the companies visit every year for placements. They assure for 100% placements. The students from 3rd semester should do the internship for the subject and research papers.
Infrastructure: The college is good at sports, and best at organising events. There are little steps to go the canteen inside the campus. There is no need to step out of college for Xerox. A Xerox store is available right next to the class. We have neat and cleanly maintained restrooms. You can keep your brain up to date in this university.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and friendly. Some are the best and well-experienced. The course has IT related subjects and fair schedule. Priorities are given to practical sessions. The technical background students can easily score. Non-technical background also can score well by studying basics.

Our college has excellent facilities and helpful students.
Placements: The top role offered was data scientist. It was an excellent college.
Infrastructure: The college fee was Rs. 15,000 per year. Our college provided many facilities. A library was available. Wi-Fi was available throughout the campus. Labs and computers were good. I recommend students join this college.
Faculty: Our teachers were friendly. No one could teach like them. The teaching quality was good and unique. Many instruments helped us learn in practical ways.
Other: Our batch was excellent because we were very happy all of the time. We studied together, played games, and took up computer science, which was a very helpful course. The college hosted singing and dancing competitions, and the winner received a prize of Rs. 50,000.

It is good and best University.
Placements: The placement rate for this college is above average. Every year, 90%+ students have been placed, and every faculty and management staff member is very supportive and active in ensuring our placement. For example, different classroom programmes and special training programmes are organised for placement improvement.
Infrastructure: It has all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment for modern technologies. It has well-facilitated laboratories; a spacious library; sports facilities; and a hostel with a Wi-Fi facility.
Faculty: I am here to study for my B.Tech in computer science and engineering. Teaching quality is well maintained with modern facilities. The always-updated curriculum and its job-oriented education system are quite appreciable. There are good professors and teachers, and they explain in a very good manner, so everyone can understand very easily.
Other: It's one of the more affordable private colleges in this area, with average fees.

If you’re comparing for CSE, both are decent options, but honestly Lovely Professional University has a bit more advantage overall.

LPU has a bigger campus, more exposure, and a wider range of CSE specializations (AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, etc.). You also get more opportunities like hackathons

If you're comparing honestly, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is the stronger pick over Jain University for M.Tech — especially for something like environmental engineering.

    Thapar has:

    • Better academic reputation + faculty + labs

    • Stronger industry exposure and peer group

    • More credibility
