Highly qualified teaching staff, good crowd, great college life, and infrastructure is superb.
Placements: Above 50% of students are placed. The highest package offered is 25 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and average is atleast 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Recruiting companies are Myntra and Wells Fargo. 40% of students got internships at Myntra, Urban Company, etc. Associate manager is one of the top roles offered in our BMS course along with business development associate.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided, labs are accessible to everyone, and classrooms are neat, well-built, and spacious. All the necessary facilities and equipment are available for a standard class including chair, benches, tables, boards, markers, fans, air-conditioning, etc. Sports facilities are superb.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are well qualified with Ph.D. They are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. Definitely, it helps students grasp an idea about how the job market works and prepares us to perform well in our jobs. Semester exams are not difficult, and are quite easy to crack. Pass percentage is 40%.

Good placements according to my seniors, bad food at the college canteen, and a small campus.
Placements: I really didn’t ask much about placements to my seniors, but as I have heard, Jain has pretty good placements, and the companies that recruit are mainly from Wipro, IBM, and Infosys. The course BCA is offered in different specializations, and the placements are good too.
Infrastructure: As I wanted a normal campus like any other college, the campus of Jayanagar Jain University is pretty small compared to other colleges in Bangalore. The food in the canteen doesn’t taste good, and they charge excessively more for the food. The people of the canteen change every 2 or 3 months, and each time it changes, the menu changes too, but the taste of the food never changes. Every single time it tastes bad.
Faculty: Teachers are nice and are well-known teachers who help with every doubt that is asked by the students. Teachers also help us. The course curriculum is certainly relevant, and the course staff explain it to us in a way that we understand easily, and don’t have a hard time understanding the course.
Other: I joined Jain University in 2024, and I'm currently studying at Jain University from 2024 to 2027.

I also like the hostels. Everything necessary is provided for the students.
Placements: Placements are excellent, as it is a Tier-1 college. Almost every company, including both non-teaching and core branch jobs, recruits from here, resulting in about 80% of students being placed. The average salary package for CSE graduates ranges from 12 LPA, with the highest reaching 1.2 crores and the lowest at 6.5 LPA. After completing my degree, I plan to settle into a non-teaching role in a multinational corporation (MNC).
Infrastructure: The events at the college are great. The Karnataka Rajyotsava is celebrated wonderfully, and Mojo Pravah is the hostel fest. Infinity is a three-day festival that is celebrated very well. There are various clubs available, such as dance, art, literature, oratory, music, and sports. The library is well-maintained and provides access to a wide range of books. Sports are a main focus, and other activities like debates are also organized.
Faculty: The course structure varies from easy to moderate, and at times can be challenging, with plenty of assignments and classes. Each class has different teachers who are experts in their respective fields, which benefits labs and theory classes. For each subject, there are usually two teachers—one for lectures and another for tutorials. I particularly enjoyed my Maths classes with Vandana Ma'am, who is very humble and sweet. Her teaching style is excellent.

Absolutely satisfied because of the improvement in faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: 85% of students get placed in my course but in other specializations. The highest package is 34 LPA, the lowest is 21 LPA, and the average package offered in my course is from 28 LPA to 32 LPA. Aditya Birla, Microsoft, and Deloitte are the top recruiting companies for my course. Around 80 to 90% of students get internships from my course at Aditya Birla as business analysts and finance analysts.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for my department are so good. We have free Wi-Fi, spacious labs, AC classrooms with spacious benches, and a free library. The hostel is nice and clean, but the food is okay, not very good and not very bad.
Faculty: Teachers in Jain are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching is of very much quality and extremely relevant. It makes students industry-ready. It is pretty difficult, and no 11th hr study can help. You have to learn in-depth by depth. The passing percentage is 22 out of 50.
Other: I chose the course because I have an interest in finance as well as business. Everything is the best thing about my course. Nothing. Everything is fine.

Honest review of Jain Deemed-to-be University, Bangalore.
Placements: The college does not have any proper placement facility and for this reason, students will suffer a lot during the completion of the course. They have to attend the walk-ins on their own and get selected for that company so the placement facility is not good in this college. To backward caste students, the government provides a stipend of around Rs. 50,000 per year.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is very good. The hostel looks like a 4-star hotel and the food provided is also very good and is pure veg. The rent is too high for a year and it is nearly 2 lakhs. Gym facilities, pool facilities, and all other facilities are provided by the Jain accommodation.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, and they provide good and easy notes. They are also helpful in solving silly doubts and also help students to get good scores in exams. They all are experienced and have good knowledge of the subject. MCA is a 3-year course, and it is a postgraduate in computer applications. It has a total of 6 semesters. 1st year has basic subjects and after that, advanced subjects will start, and it also has 3 practical labs. The practical lab helped us to get good knowledge about the concept. Jain University has one of the best faculty members in terms of teaching. All teachers are PhD holders in their field.
Other: For making a career in the field of IT, I think MCA is the best option for those who have completed their graduation.

The best college based on my experience.
Placements: Students became eligible for placements from the second year. A few centres that visited were Stepping Stone, Kshema, and Spring Days etc. Each centre took at least four students. In my batch, out of 52 professionals, 40 were placed on campus. The package ranged between 3 to 5.4 LPA. Godrej offered 3 LPA, ICICI offered 3.2 LPA, Airtel offered 3.2 LPA, and BNY Menon offered 4.2 LPA. The others continued running their own businesses. Most of us were placed in Bangalore and Pune.
Infrastructure: Food and hostel facilities were good. However, there was no particular hostel for JGI, but other stay options were available. The local people provided hostel facilities with good food. If you were a chicken lover, this place was perfect for you. No non-vegetarian food was allowed on the college premises.
Faculty: Faculty members of my college were highly qualified and experienced professionals who had worked in the corporate sector and held MBA and Ph.D. degrees. Moreover, the exposure they provided through internships based on their own experience was the key to our smart work. MCA was a 3-year postgraduate course in computer applications with a total of six semesters. In the first year, it covered basic subjects, and afterward, advanced subjects began. The course also included three practical labs, which helped us gain a good understanding of the concepts. The course was updated with all the latest topics that needed to be covered. We also worked on projects involving the latest technology. For example, during my academic journey in B.Ed, I created an AI model with the integration of the latest technology.
