JNU BA is a three-year course offered via the School of Language, Literature, and Culture Studies. The UG-level programme is offered at a full-time mode lasting for three years. Candidates are selected for JNU BA (Hons) courses based on their merit in CUET, conducted by NTA. The University also offers lateral entry admission to the second year of the BA (Hons) programme. Candidates who are willing to seek admission need to possess the first year of a bachelor's degree from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum of 45% aggregate (50% in case of BA Hons in German) along with a valid CUET score.

As per the JNU CSE cutoff 2026, EWS AI category candidates have to get a rank of at least 6340 in Round 5. Students with a rank lower than the one mentioned here have a better chance of admission.
