No, the selection criteria for full-time course is through JEE Main score. Candidates should have minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate in Class 12 or its equivalent examination. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at JUIT Solan are as follows:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and at least 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST) from a recognised board.
- For B.Tech Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, candidates must have Biology/Biotechnology, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Candidates must have qualified JEE Main All India Rank for admission through JEE (Mains) mode.
- Candidates who have passed 12th from Himachal Pradesh are eligible for 10% reserved seats.
