Big brand name of the college is not enough to ensure one gets good placement.

Placements: Placement are not good at all these days especially for non CSE-IT students. Me being from ECE had to apply for off campus job and got it but on campus jobs offer even those who got jobs many of them don't even got their joining letter. So the future of placement does't looks good.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. And mostly the space is occupied by the hostel as the location of the college is 3km inside the main road that is the Shimla -solan highway. So basically it is a interior of a village called waknaghat. Apart from hostel the college has good library and teaching classes and auditorium both are decent. The only thing is hostel is not that cheap in respect to the location which it offers.

Faculty: Although, the college claims to have maximum of Ph.D. staff. But most of the teaching staff of the ECE stream are only M.Tech. One has to keep in touch with the concerned faculty to score good grade in a particular subject. As the internal assessment is in their hands which is 25 marks and these marks can definitely improve the overall grade and CGPA in total as their is relative grading system prevalent in the college and all grades are relative that means it is decided on the basis with respect to the person which has got the max marks in a particular subject.

Other: The JAYPEE GROUP is not a remarkable group anymore. So don't take admission based on the fact that this is a prestigious organisation and it will get u placed. It depends on u're luck and talent to get placement these days not the college so choose the college which is decent and is not costly.
