It has good campus life with awesome view of mountains.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Above 100% of the students get placed from our college almost every year. The average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Most of the placements are in mass recruiting companies like TCS and Wipro with a salary package of around 3.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 32 LPA by Amazon in the year 2021.
Infrastructure: The college is located in between beautiful mountains, and the view is awesome. The infrastructure is good, and the classrooms are well. Wi-Fi facility is also available but unlimited internet is not provided. Labs are good, and the library is huge and is of 3 floors, and hostels rooms are good. Washrooms are clean and the mess is also good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are not good, and they only focus on bookish knowledge instead of practical knowledge. The course curriculum is also not updated and is just a waste of time. Labs are also a waste of time. Only some faculty members are good. So in this college, you have to study on your own.

The worst placements in 2018 because all that really matters.
Placements: 2. It was a batch of 92 students. 3. M.Tech students got 12000. Ph.D. students got 25000 per month. 4. SAP, Amazon, EY, etc. offered the job. 5. Software Developer was the role offered to the students. 6. The highest package was 17lakhs, the lowest was 2lakhs and average was 3.5 Lacs was offered to our course.
Infrastructure: Library was very good made with all wood. Food was very good. It was the best mess one can expect. Best infrastructure one can see. A famous architect has designed the college which gives you so much peace in the surrounding. Best food and best construction.
Faculty: Yes, very helpful. Some were not also knowledgeable yes very much and teaching was majorly done in Powerpoint presentations. And computer labs were enough for students to learn things practically. Not relevant was the course because the syllabus is old and there is no point of learning course which is old because even if you get old knowledge you won't get jobs.
Other: I choose because of my interest. But now people should not go for electronic jobs since there are no jobs in india specially. Best things are that hardware is all visual and you get to work on labs in your projects. I wish there were workshops more to be conducted.

The campus is small, and placements are below average.
Placements: Companies like Infosys, Cognizant and Wipro, are the main recruiters of our college apart from that there are only a few companies like HCL, etc. Almost 90% of the recruitment is done by the former 3 companies only. Unless one from a civil or a biotechnology branch, everyone gets placed here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi doesn't exist, and the archaic system of LAN is used where only 300 Mb of data is allocated for one student per day. The campus is small, and sometimes basic amenities like medicines and clothing is tough to buy since there is nothing in the vicinity of the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are good with knowledge of the subjects and are usually ambidextrous in their teachings. The practical aspect is given a lot of focus, and most subjects also have a lab, which is very beneficial to gain exposure to the real world.

College on a steep decline.
Placements: Nothing so special about the placements in my opinion and if you don't have better options and are ready to settle for those boring jobs at TCS, Wipro etc. Only then join the college. It does not matter which branch you are from since everyone gets placed in coding profile at mass recruiters like Infosys etc. Also, there are 0 placements for civil branch.
Infrastructure: An incredibly small college with a congested lifestyle and lack of facilities. The college is situated in a remote area with hardly anything nearby outside. The only saving grace is the scenery which seems good for the first few weeks but for 4 years it feels boring.
Faculty: Average faculty with an average course structure. All good faculty members are leaving college with time. If I am honest the faculty isn't that bad but rest of the things are. Faculty members and course curriculum are doable in all branches and labs are provided of relevant subjects.

It is a great place to explore and learn.
Placements: Almost 80% of the students got placed of the students applied for placements. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, average salary package offered was 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top companies are Bata, HCl, Deloitte, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and Cognizant. Roles like a technical engineer, software developer and tester were offered. No internship is being provided in the college.
Infrastructure: The ambience of our college is very good and spread across the large area. There is a huge cafeteria and also a well-versed library with books. Classrooms are digital with all the facilities are provided. Hostels are well-developed with air-conditioned facilities and also attached washroom. There was a huge mess which serves different kinds of meal on different days.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable, experienced, motivated and help students in achieving their targets to overcome any difficulties. The course curriculum was well-designed and up to the expectations of students for their holistic development overall.
Other: I have chosen this course as I had an interest in coding in different languages from 12th class and also B. Tech gives you a path for a corporate world.

Natural beauty, boring life, bad placements.
Placements: The college has seen a massive nosedive in the placements since 2011 when I joined. Due to horrible management of the college placements suffered and we are only alive thanks to companies who hire in bulk but pay less like TCS, Infosys etc. I was placed in cognizant at 3.3 LPA.
Infrastructure: They have done a good job in building a campus on mountains because it is tough but they have built a very small campus, which hardly has much space and facilities and the fact that is isolated makes the campus extremely boring and monotonous. More facilities are needed.
Faculty: Compared to the college, the teachers were very good and I doubt how come they prefer to stay in the college even now and not leave for better prospects. The curriculum is extremely basic and the problem is not faculty or curriculum but the placements.

The college provides a good environment for studies.
Placements: Around 80% of the students got placed in ECE in the previous year. The highest salary package offered is around 13 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 36 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Lavya Associates, Infosys, Zscaler and Wipro. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Almost 90% of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi facility, lecture theatre rooms, tutorial rooms, smart classes and a different type of labs for different subjects. A library is available with 15 days return policy. The quality of the hostel is good but not as expected. Medical facilities are also available, and there is a huge scope for sports and games. Good quality of food is available.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and highly knowledgeable. There are different teachers for different subjects. Some of them are from IITs, and many of them are highly experienced. The way of providing lectures is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and I am fully satisfied with our faculty members.
Other: I want to join PSUs, so there is a huge scope in ECE. I suggest that instead of teaching irrelevant subjects which are not part of the course they should teach only relevant subjects for our better understanding. Events organised in our college is less, but they are good. There is a huge scope for everything here like sports, studies and extra curriculum activities.

I'm dissatisfied with the campus crowd. There are no extracurricular activities.
Placements: Recently, a placement cell is formed in our college, and the teachers indulge students in it. They are working hard for providing placements for students. Many companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Nestle, etc, visited our college to offer placement. Until now, not many students got the internship from college.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure. The labs, classrooms and the library has all the required facilities. The quality of the food served in the canteen is very good compared to the food served in other colleges. Hygiene is well-maintained in the mess and hostels. Until now, we haven't faced any issue regarding the infrastructure of the college.
Faculty: Some of the teachers in our college are very helpful and cooperative. The student to faculty ratio is very less. Some of the teachers don't teach well, and they work just for the sake of formality. Only biotechnology students are given industry exposure, and other branch students don't get this opportunity.
Other: The fest organised in our college is not great as there is no DJ Night. The campus crowd is average. There is no scholarship criteria for students.

Placement wise both are equivalent. Personally I would suggest JUIT, Solan as it has better atmosphere, awesome location and calm life for 4 years.
