Good academic environment with supportive faculty and scope for research.

Placements: Almost 70-80 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 6 LPA. The average package is 3.5 LPA. The lowest package is about 3 LPA. Macleods and Wipro are the biggest recruiters. Almost 50-60 percent of students get internships, mostly in Macleods, Torrent, Microlabs companies, etc. Top offered roles are production officer, QC and QA officer, research executive, etc.

Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi available. Labs are in good condition. The classrooms have a smart board and are air-conditioned. A departmental library is also present. I'm not a hosteler but the accommodation and food are delicious, I got to know from my friends. The canteen provides good, fresh food. It also has good medical facilities and a sports ground.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, very friendly, and highly qualified. They are very generous also. Pharmaceutics department is very popular among industries mostly for R&D and production QC QA. The exams are pretty difficult. 50 percent marks are required to pass.

Other: I was very passionate about the pharmacy field and after completing B.Pharma. I was determined to complete a Master's. The course is very much relevant for industrial purposes. I think the placement cell should be much better. All the other things are very well and enjoyable.

Review of the college experience.

Placements: Placements are good, but students prefer to go off-campus for placements more than on-campus. Many students have got jobs at companies like Accenture, etc. Many students get internships through the hard work they put into their self-studies and based on their interests in the fields they want to pursue. Students get jobs on the basis of their skills.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Labs we use and the machines we work on, like computers and electronics equipment, are in good working condition. However, according to hostel reviews from students, the maintenance is not good. If it is maintained properly with a routine, it can be perfect.

Faculty: Teachers here are qualified. They help students with their respective courses. Especially in our department, teachers are helpful and good at explaining. The course curriculum is very good and engaging. However, the administration is not good compared to the teaching facilities. The semester exams are quite difficult, but in a good way, as they prepare us for the industry.

Other: The fests and extracurricular programs in our college are well-organized and very enjoyable. The campus is good, but I would not say it is great. Honestly, the campus should not be the main factor. Education should be the priority.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course this year is not that high, but if a student is sincere with academics, attendance criteria, projects, and hackathons, then they will get an opportunity. There are various active clubs, such as GDG Campus, OWASP, and others, which frequently conduct hackathons and workshops.

Infrastructure: Labs and infrastructure are well-developed, though students are demanding air conditioning in the computer labs. Classrooms are decent, and the library is also good. I did not choose the hostel facility, there is no canteen in the college, so students go outside the campus (near NIT) to have lunch.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and cooperative, though students need to take personal initiative to become industry-ready and face the challenges typical of a private college. Semester exams are moderate, and most students clear them. My course is CSE, which I secured through their own entrance exam (JET).

Other: Since this college focuses on BTech in CSE and its specializations, it would be better if the college invited more IT companies for recruitment, improved the lift facilities, and added air conditioning in the computer labs. During heavy rains, the pool area (the main hangout spot for students) completely fills with rainwater. West Bengal students can avail of state scholarships. There is a badminton court inside the college building, as well as a gymnasium where different indoor games can be played.

Infrastructure: Our whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Our university is properly designed, and its campus area is really beautiful. Hostel facilities are satisfactory for all students. They provide quality food to students. Games and sports programme is conducted every year where many students participate. In our campus, many tournaments take place.

Faculty: The faculty of our university is so friendly and kind-hearted. They are well qualified and have in-depth knowledge. They teach us everything, from the course curriculum to things outside of the curriculum which are important. Semester exams are not so tough most students clear the semester exams.

Food is okay and sports facilities are available. All the necessary materials are available for our curriculum.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Most of them are IITians and are highly educated. The course curriculum is very much relevant to us. It makes us job-ready. Semester exams are moderate. You can ace it if you focus on your classes with a little bit of effort.

A good university in Kolkata.

Placements: Placements are decent for roles. A larger number of students get placed, but more companies should visit campus for other roles too. The highest package is 7 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are EY India, TCS, etc. Almost every student got internships. The top roles offered are system engineers and business development partners.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. It happens to look like they are extending the campus, so we may see new things soon. Hostels are decent too. The infrastructure contains a small auditorium-like room on every floor and a wonderful lab with facilities. The canteen is also clean.

Faculty: Faculty members are decent enough to complete 80-85 percent of the syllabus and guide students. Semesters are sometimes shorter, but they try to cover every topic in the curriculum. Semester exams are on a decent level, so most people pass with decent grades. The course curriculum is relevant. Teachers are helpful with exam preparation and guiding students.
