JIS University BTech Lateral Scholarship Scheme for the State of Tripura
The university will provide BTech Lateral Scholarship Scheme to students getting admission in BTech (LE) course and belonging to the state of Tripura. Check below the highlights of the BTech Lateral Scholarship Scheme:

Alumni Scholarship for Group Institutions
The university offers a 20% alumni scholarship on tuition fees to students. Check below the criteria to apply for the scholarship:
Scholarship criteria: A degree/diploma course from any of the institutions under JIS Group and admission in a second degree course in any of the institutions under JIS Group including JIS University from the academic year 2020-21 onwards (BBA to MBA, BSc to MSc/ MBA, BTech to MBA or if any) is required.
Note: A student can avail any one kind of scholarship and will not be able to combine one scholarship with other.
- Diploma to BTech (LE)
A scholarship of INR 10,000 per semester is applicable only to the students who have studied their three years Diploma in Engineering in any of the institutions under the JIS Group. Students get a total scholarship of INR 60,000.
Terms & Conditions
- Any kind of scholarship/ teaching assistantship is liable to be withdrawn, partially or wholly, in case of misconduct, deliberate concealment of materials or supply of false information or continued absence of more than one month except on medical grounds.
- Scholarships/ teaching assistantships are liable to be reduced or terminated for a duration of up to one semester on account of poor academic performance or not completing the assigned tasks in a satisfactory manner.
