If seats remain vacant, candidates who have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate in the qualifying examination can be given admission. In addition to this, relaxation of 5% is given in the eligibility criteria to bonafide SC/ ST/ OBC candidates. The mode of admissions at the Jiwaji University varies from one course to another. Jiwaji University admission is both merit and entrance-based. For the admission to majority of courses at Jiwaji Gwalior, candidates are required to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in the previous qualification exams. For candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category, a relaxation of 5% will be provided. For courses such as BE, MCA, MBA, DPharma, BPharma and others, the University considers valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main and DTE, Bhopal and others, varying course to course.

Jiwaji University BSc admission dates 2024 have been announced by the University. The application forms are already closed for the year 2024 and, the first admission list for BSc admission at Jiwaji University will be declared on Jun 25, 2024.

Jiwaji University offers admission to various UG and PG level programmes on the basis of merit and valid scores of accepted entrance exams. The University considers a minimum aggregate of 45% to 60% in Class 12 and/or 50% to 55% in graduation, depending on the level of the course candidate must have opted for. In addition to this, for majority of courses, candidates must secure valid scores in CUET UG/PG, CMAT, NEET PG, GATE or other valid entrance exams. 

If candidates leaves the BSc programme or desires to cancel his/ her admission before the last date of admission, the fee will be returned to them after deducting 10% of the admission fees deposited. Only caution money will be refunded if candidates leaves the programme after the said date. In case where candidates have given an undertaking to the effect that their admission may be cancelled in case they fail to produce their result of qualifying exam by the last date of admission, they will not get any refund of admission fee except the caution money.

Jiwaji University offers scholarships to meritorious students and to the students based on need. Candidates must be eligible to seek scholarship and to secure financial relaxation from the University. Jiwaji University Gwalior Scholarships include:

The respective scholarships differ in terms of the eligibility, wherein, candidates can opt for scholarship for higher studies after securing a degree from the University, while belonging to the reserved category. Similarly, eligible candidates can seek scholarship under the category of SC/ ST/ OBC Post Metric Scholarships.

Jiwaji University BSc admission is entirely merit-based for the academic year 2024. The admissions are made on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the Class 12 examination. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate with required compulsory subjects (45% for bonafide SC/ ST/ OBC applicants of MP and, Physically Challenged candidates. 45% aggregate in the qualifying exam, if seats remain vacant) can get admission to the BSc programme. However, according to the prospectus released by the University for the year 2022, the University accepted the CUET UG scores.
