JKLU admission to courses is both merit and entrance-based. Step 1: Application Process

Candidates seeking admission to the JKLU courses are required to register their candidature on the official website of the university and then fill out the complete application form. Prospective candidates must check their eligibility before applying to the course.

Step 2: Entrance Exam

Admission to all JKLU courses is both merit and entrance-based. The university conducts JKLU DET for admission to BDes and MDes programmes. JKLU may also consider scores obtained in CUET-UG and GATE scores for admission to specific programmes if applicable.

Step 3: Other Selection Rounds

After shortlisting candidates based on entrance exam scores, the selected candidates are called for the Personal Interaction Round (PCI) or PI & Portfolio Round (PR) for Design aspirants.

Step 4: Results and Admission

Selected candidates are informed about their admission. To accept the offer, candidates need to pay the JKLU fee and submit the original copies of the documents for verification.
