JK Lakshmipat University MTech Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Admission Process, Placements

JKLU Jaipur MTech admission is a multi-step process. Majorly, it includes three steps: online application process, selection process, and admission confirmation. All these steps comprising the process of JKLU Jaipur admission for MTech are as follows:

STEP 1: Online Application

The first step in the JKLU MTech admission process is to apply online. To start the application process, aspirants can visit the university’s official website at www.jklu.edu.in and click on 'Apply'. On the redirected page, they must fill out the registration form, followed by the detailed application form. Candidates seeking admission through GATE scores must separately apply for the exams through its official website.

STEP 2: Selection Process

The university shortlists prospective candidates based on their merit in the relevant Bachelor’s degree. However, if the candidates’ Bachelor’s degree is not in the allied discipline, they must have basic proficiency in Computer Science (can be proved through relevant coursework) or a valid score in GATE. Shortlisted candidates may have to undergo other selection rounds, if required by the university.

STEP 3: Admission Confirmation

Candidates selected based on the above-mentioned criteria must submit the first instalment of the applicable JKLU Jaipur fees to confirm their admission. The JK Lakshmipat MTech fee payable over the entire course duration is INR 3.6 lakh.

In addition to the tuition fee, selected candidates must pay an admission fee of INR 5,000 and a caution deposit of INR 10,000 at the time of admission. JKLU Jaipur MTech scholarships are offered to meritorious students who are enrolled in the full-time course. These scholarships are offered under the following two categories:

• For GATE-qualified students: A scholarship of INR 12,400 per month
• For Non-GATE qualified students: TA-ship for deserving candidates

Besides these scholarships, eligible MTech students can avail of the following JKLU Jaipur scholarships:

• Sibling/Alumni Scholarship (20%)
• Single Girl Child Scholarship (10%)
• Special Category Scholarship (10%): Awarded to wards of defence personnel, SC/ST/differently-abled candidates, candidates from North-Eastern states/UTs and students of JKO schools
• Extra-Curricular and Co-Curricular Scholarships
• Special Circumstances Scholarships: Awarded to wards of JKLU/JK Organisation staff
