To apply for MTech admission at JNTUA, candidates need to visit the official website of respective conducting bodies of national-level entrance exams GATE score followed by CCMT counselling or Andhra Pradesh PGECET. For the MTech/ MSc programme, the candidates are required to register on the official website of TS PGECET.

There is a cricket ground, football ground, tennis court, basketball court, kabaddi court, volleyball court, and gymnasium, The college organises inter-college and intra-college meets and allows students to national-level sports.

Jawaharlal Nehru University Anantpur is ranked 151st among engineering colleges in India by National Institional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2023.  JNTUA offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering, technology, pharmacy, and management. The eligibility criteria typically require a minimum of 45% in the 10+2 exams along with specific entrance exams such as Andhra Pradesh EAMCET or CBSE 12th+6 more.
