JNU MBA Courses & Fee 2025: Dates, Eligibility, Admission, Placements, How to Apply

Students wanting to apply for an MBA at JNU must have appeared for the CAT exam. At the time of registration, students are required to submit their CAT registration number and CAT score. IIMs are not involved in the JNU MBA admission process. Further, the s involved in the JNU admission procedure for the PG course are explained below:

1: JNU MBA Application Process 2025

To apply for the MBA programme at JNU, students need to apply online by visiting the university's official website. Given below is the -wise application process for JNU MBA admission:

1.1: Visit the website, jnu.ac.in.

1.2: Register and create login credentials.

1.3: Fill in the personal and academic details such as the candidate's name, contact etc.

1.4: Upload the scanned photograph and signature in the given dimensions.

1.5: Pay the application fee (INR 2,000 for the General category and INR 1,000 for SC/ST/PwD) and click on ‘Submit’.

JNU MBA Application Process: Important Documents

The documents required at the time of the JNU MBA application process are as follows:

• Scorecard of CAT
• Passport-size photograph
• Non-Creamy layer certificate (if applicable)
• Certificate of sports and games/NCC/NSS (if applicable)
• Bachelor’s degree mark sheets
• Relevant documents for Experience or other qualification
• Medical certificate of disability issued by a Government Medical Board
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• BPL Certificate

2: GD & PI

After all the applications are received, the students are shortlisted for GDPI based on their CAT score. Additionally, based on the CAT score, the number of applications shortlisted is seven times the number of seats available in each category.

3: Release of Selection List

Following the group discussion and interview rounds, the university releases a selection list. The final merit list is prepared based on the candidate's CAT score (70% weightage), group discussion (10%), and personal interview (20%).

4: Seat Confirmation

In the last , the students who make it to the selection list can visit the university campus for document verification. After verification, students can be asked to pay some amount of the fee to confirm their seat. The below table showcases JNU MBA fees bifurcation:
