Aptitude tests and group discussions are conducted at regular intervals to enable the students to improve their performance in competitive exams. The Training Placement Officer who is assisted by ATPO and other faculty and student representatives from all the departments heads this unit. Job oriented courses and special training programmes are regularly conducted. Kalinga University also arranges guest lectures, visiting faculty members for training students and faculty members too, from time to time.

Minimum eligibility criteria for UG & PG Courses: For admissions to UG programmes at KU, students must have passed Class 12 and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate  (40% for SC/ST). Aspirants will be considered for PG programmes at KU if they have completed their graduation (graduation with three-year duration) with a minimum of 45% aggregate. 

Students belonging to SC and ST category will need a minimum of 40% for admissions. Students aiming for admissions to integrated programmes should have passed Class 12.

Kalinga University for BTech admission 2025 is open now. For BTech admission, candidates must have completed twelve years of school education first. Eligible candidates are then to apply for the in-house entrance exam. Applicants must appear for the exam and secure at least 50% in the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
