Kalinga University admission dates 2025 for the BCom programme is not out yet. As per the University's admission guidelines, KALSEE is entrance exam required to get admission in BCom course. KALSEE application form is available on the university's website. The last date to apply for the exam is in July (Tentative). However, as per the official sources, the last date to apply will likely be in July (tentative). Candidates willing to be admitted to the DPharma course can apply for the exam by filling out the KALSEE application form and paying an application fee of INR 1,000 via online payment.

Kalinga University BCom curriculum for the first includes some basic subjects in the field of commerce. The syllabus includes a total of six core subjects and one additional subject that students must select from the list of subjects. The BCom subjects offered in the first semester are as follows:

• Financial Accounting
• Principles And Practices of Management
• Micro Economics
• English/NCC (Choose any one)
• Business Correspondence and Reporting
• Fundamentals of IT
• Fundamentals of IT Lab

Kalinga University BCom curriculum provides students with the knowledge and capability to understand the business world and its complexities. The syllabus also helps students develop the ability and competence to solve issues related to the business world. After completing a BCom degree candidates can pursue their career in the field of Business such as Financial analyst, Company secretary,  Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered accountant, etc.

To get admission to Kalinga University BCom programme candidates must complete the KALSEE application process. Candidates must fill out the online application form for the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE). Kalinga University BCom application form includes multiple steps, which are as follows:

Direct admission at Kalinga University for BCom is available through the management quota. This means that candidates can secure admission to the BCom programme by applying directly to the university without having to go through a centralized entrance examination.

Another pathways for admission to Kalinga University is through the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE), which is conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including BCom. Candidates can appear for this entrance exam to qualify for admission to the BCom programme at Kalinga University.

Kalinga University offers various UG, PG, Diploma, and Integrated courses through its 14 departments.

The basic criteria to get admission in Kalinga University are given as follows:

1. Candidates who have passed 10+2/HSC or its equivalent qualifying examination with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for reserve category) from a recognised Board are considered eligible for admission to the UG course.
2. Applicants with graduation degree of minimum three years with at least 45% marks (40% for the reserved category) from a recognised University are considered eligible to get admission in any PG course.
3. Candidates are selected on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination (for UG course) or in the Graduation Degree (for PG course) as per the guidelines of the University.
4. The application form is the same for every course (UG/ PG) and is available online and offline. Candidates shall submit the application fee of INR 1000 either through net banking/ credit/ debit card in online mode or through demand draft/ cash in offline mode.

Minimum eligibility criteria for UG & PG Courses: For admissions to UG programmes at KU, students must have passed Class 12 and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate  (40% for SC/ST). Aspirants will be considered for PG programmes at KU if they have completed their graduation (graduation with three-year duration) with a minimum of 45% aggregate. 

Students belonging to SC and ST category will need a minimum of 40% for admissions. Students aiming for admissions to integrated programmes should have passed Class 12.

The Training and Placement Department of this University provides guidance and all the assistance for the students in order to achieve their career goals. The Department takes right steps in identifying the demands of the current industry and prepares our students towards this need. Adequate emphasis is given for soft skill development complementing the regular academic programmes

Aptitude tests and group discussions are conducted at regular intervals to enable the students to improve their performance in competitive exams. The Training Placement Officer who is assisted by ATPO and other faculty and student representatives from all the departments heads this unit. Job oriented courses and special training programmes are regularly conducted. Kalinga University also arranges guest lectures, visiting faculty members for training students and faculty members too, from time to time.

The minimum eligibility requirement for BTech at Kalinga University mandates that candidates must have passed Class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subject.
