A beautiful, attractive college. It is indeed beautiful. It is surrounded by trees & greenery.
Placements: To be straightforward, since it is a traditional government college, most students in my course opted to pursue their Masters degrees or prepare for civil services rather than jump immediately into the corporate sector. Because of this, only about 15% to 20% of students were placed directly through the college. The top recruiting companies were mostly local Kashmir enterprises, regional agro-industries like Kanwal Foods and Mir Agro, and a few regional financial setups. The top roles offered to my batch were Sales Executive, Junior Accountant, and Supervisors.
Infrastructure: This is the main thing in college, as we had computers, etc. With Wi-Fi facility, classrooms are spacious, labs are well-equipped, and the library is massive! Hostels are comfortable with tasty mess food. We have excellent sports grounds, decent Wi-Fi, and reliable medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers gave an absolute 100% & taught with dedication. The semester exams are at a pretty moderate level. Teachers are highly qualified and supportive. The curriculum is relevant and prepares students well for the industry. Semester exams are moderately difficult and very fair, boasting an excellent 85% pass percentage!
Other: The world is changing, so are we, it is the necessity of life. Computer & AI is the future, that's why I chose it.

Excellent infrastructure, supportive faculty, and great placements.
Placements: In Our College (Islamia College of Science And Commerce), after completion of courses, they will give placements in some companies. In my course, 2-3 students were placed in a company, which is the greatest thing in our college. In other courses, they were placed in other companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is very good. Our labs are maintained, and our college Wi-Fi is very good. Classrooms and the library are also good and well-maintained. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is extremely good, and the quality of food is the best that is available in the mess and also in the canteen. A medical facility is also available here. Sports and games are conducted every day by the Department of Physical Education.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are qualified and extremely knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good as per the students' needs. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. It's not so difficult to pass the semester exam. The passing percentage is almost 50% in each semester.
Other: I chose this course because my aim is to be a Network Engineer and a Cyber Security Analyst. There's nothing to change or improve about my course. Our college also mainly focuses on events, fests, connectivity, extracurricular activities, etc.

Decent college with beautiful campus.
Placements: There is no placement cell available as of now in the college. Students are placed through their self-study and off-campus placements. I don't know about the packages. Internships are not available. You can earn an internship on your own through self-research and study.
Infrastructure: There are quite good facilities: a hostel for boys and girls with accommodation for about 250 students. There are Wi-Fi hotspots available at the central library, browsing center, and smart board classrooms with well-equipped devices and surveillance around. With ATM facilities inside the campus and a nice, newly constructed canteen with a big hall and a table tennis court. Sports tournaments are organized according to the annual college calendar.
Faculty: The teaching quality is average, like in other colleges, as we know. The college curriculum is irrelevant throughout India. If you want to get industry-ready, you will have to learn on your own. Otherwise, you will only pass college semesters. Semester exams are of a medium level.
Other: It is a very good course for the future because it makes you industry-ready and skillful if you study religiously. I think the lack of an industry-oriented curriculum is a big problem in colleges in our country. We should try to fill that gap by introducing the latest updated, useful curriculum. Connectivity is top-notch for our college; even the farthest living student can reach easily by train, as the railway station is 1.5 km-2 km away from the college. Also, there is public transport around the college when you step out. Extracurricular activities happen with boot camps, events, and government programs. They also provide scholarships to those in need.

    Decent college, but needs improvement.
Placements: There are no on-campus placements in these colleges; however, if a student has worked on their own, he/she can get placed off-campus by themselves. Placements are held, I think, in 2-3 years when there is a job fair offered by the government at selected institutes. You can do a Master's from any other reputed university and then apply for jobs or internships; this will also increase your chances. Getting a degree from a Tier 2 college is not enough.
Infrastructure: Decent infrastructure with a large campus and free Wi-Fi hotspots available at the library and other blocks. Classrooms are nice for our department with smart boards. The library is nice with a digitized system. I don't know about the hostel because I am a local. Sports games are also played in college. I heard the canteen is average. The rest of the buildings, labs, and central library are quite decent, and also the campus is very beautiful and well-maintained.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and brilliant, but some are not up to the mark. The curriculum is quite relevant, although it does not make you industry-ready; you have to work on yourself and get yourself ready for job placements, etc. Semester exams have a nice level; you have to give a push to your studies, then you can pass. But if you just goof around, it will be difficult. Also, you have to maintain 75% attendance mandatory for the BCA department; otherwise, you will be detained and debarred from the exams. For the rest of the departments, I don't know.
Other: About the connectivity of the college, it is located in a very nice location, which is easily accessible from all means. Students from far-flung areas like Banihal, Qazigund, and Pulwama come to this college. It has good taxi connectivity for most routes; also, the railway station is 2.5 km away from the college, which makes it easy to reach. The campus crowd is also good. About scholarships, they provide scholarships for needy students from government schemes. Extracurricular activities and events are also held. The college has a vast ground and a nice, lush green campus with flaming chinars.

Really good infrastructure, facilities and qualified teachers. But poor in placements.
Placements: Placement infrastructure is poor. Very few companies are coming in college. If you want to be placed you have to try your own. I think none of the students gets placed from our senior batch. Because most of the students want to pursue masters. Or prepare for government exams.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure is very good. High performance computers, with the latest technologies. Lab's and classroom are also good with high quality projectors and new LG Tv's with Android os. There is also a smart classroom as well. Wi-Fi facility is fabulous in CS department. Plus each student will get 1GB per day. Library is also good. I wasn't staying at hostel. But I visited there few times. And also that was good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable. Just you need to attend classes regularly. They are very friendly with students. Exams are not that much difficult if you just study the basics you can pass the examination. If one can attend classes regularly he/she can pass it easily with high grades.

    Dissatisfied because of no placements.
Placements: There is no campus placement here. After completing the degree students need to find jobs off campus because companies don't visit here. But you can do the internship during your college which will give you a upper hand at the time of finding a job after college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is almost good, Wi-Fi is available and SMART classrooms are also there. There is also one computer lab. There is Hostel available but no one lives there because almost all the students are local and they can reach their home Talking about sports you can play any game u want.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They help the students in every aspect. Teaching quality is almost good. Course curriculum is ofcourse relevant because the syllabus is framed by university and exam papers are also framed by university.

The college comes under everyone's budget.
Placements: Only 1% of students from our college get placed. The placement scenario is very poor. The packages range from 3 LPA to 12 LPA, with an average of 6 LPA. Infosys is the most frequent recruiter. Internships are offered to around 5% of students only. SDE is the top role.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the department is not up to the mark. Classrooms and labs lack proper equipment and cleanliness. Wi-Fi is slow and often not working. The hostel conditions are worse with poor hygiene, bad food quality, and no proper maintenance.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and have good knowledge. They try to help students whenever needed, and their teaching quality is decent. However, the course curriculum lacks industry relevance. Exams are very tough and often stressful for students.
Other: Fortunately, I have a good company of friends in my department. We support each other through everything. The social environment is decent among friends. Most of us bond well because we share similar religious and cultural backgrounds.

It is a very good college.
Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in our course. The salary package was not good. The top recruiting companies were Hazzten and Muskurahat Foundation. Around 40% of students got internships in this course at Hazzten, etc. The top roles were offered in this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was well-established. Wi-Fi was available. Digital classrooms were good for understanding the concepts very quickly.
Faculty: All faculty members were good. They were well-qualified from top institutions. They taught us very well. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the upcoming challenges. Semester exams were good. The pass percentage was 80%.
