Good colleges around Delhi.

Placements: My name is Vedant Shukla, and I am currently pursuing my B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) from KIET Group of Institutions Ghaziabad. Talking about placements 70 to 75 percent students from the EEE branch get placed each year. Highest package offered in our branch has been around 10 LPA, lowest around 3 LPA and average package range is between 4 and 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Teach Mahindra and few core companies like L&T and Schneider Electric.

Infrastructure: KIET Group of Institutions provides good infrastructure for the EEE department with well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a rich library with both technical and non-technical books. Hostel facilities are decent with 24/7 water and electricity, Wi-Fi, and regular cleanliness. Food in the mess is average but hygienic, and canteen offers multiple snacks options. Campus has good sports facilities, including basketball, volleyball, cricket grounds, and a gym. Medical facilities are available on campus with a doctor and an ambulance for emergencies.

Faculty: Faculty in the EEE department at KIET are supportive, experienced, and qualified. Most teachers use a mix of theory and practical examples, and some use PPTs and smart boards. Curriculum is updated as college is autonomous and aligns well with industry requirements, including subjects like IoT, AI, and EVs. Semester exams are moderately difficult if you study regularly. Pass percentage is around 85 to 90%, and internal assessment also helps in maintaining good grades. Faculty is supportive and knowledgeable.

Value for money in a great location.

Placements: The placement rate of students in my department is 100 percent. Our department had the highest pay package of 15 LPA. The top companies that recruited from the department were Amazon, Flipkart, JSW, and TCS etc. Approximately 80% of our class received internships while still in school, and the rest found them outside of school.

Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, and the classrooms are also fully air conditioned. The classroom is spacious and the desks are comfortable. The library has all the books needed to study and all the materials needed. Also, there is plenty of food that is always high quality, and medical facilities are available.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students. They're highly qualified and have a lot of domain knowledge. The curriculum matches the course and gets the students ready for work. The pass rate for the college is 30%.

Other: College generally organise event monthly which include cultural and technical fest.

Perfect college for an average student.

Placements: Total 95% of students got placed in our course. The highest package of my course is 6 LPA, and the highest package is 25 LPA. 80% of students got internships in college. Top companies that come to campus are Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, JSW, etc.

Infrastructure: College is fully air-conditioned and we can access Wi-Fi all over the college. The library has the latest resource material and well-seated space. The quality of food in canteen is good for the money. The college has various courts like football court, cricket ground, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified having Ph.D. Degree. Also, they have a good amount of knowledge in their domain. The curriculum perfectly matches the course and makes the students industry-ready. The passing percentage is 35% for semester exams.

Other: There is a monthly fest that occurs.

Good college for students who are here for studies.

Placements: Almost every student is placed in electrical and electronics branch. The highest salary is around 18 LPA to 20 LPA. Cognizant and other companies in which there are need for engineers for designing. The roles that are offered because of our course are in various places like in government sector and private sector. It also manages power and generation and also involved in chip manufacturing and designing new ICs and other things.

Infrastructure: Good facilities are provided by the college. All the rooms are AC fitted and proper ventilation is there. Proper electrical machines are there for presentation and experimentation theory which we learn at the college or classes are implemented in the labs. Wi-Fi is also quite good. Library is big and there are a lot of books to read and learn from them. Quality of the food is quite good. There are also courts for playing basketball, badminton, and cricket.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. They try their best to teach us. This course is relevant and also good for other competitive exams. Moderate to hard levels of difficult of exams are taken in this branch, and average pass percentage is 70-80%.

Other: Electrical and electronics is the field in which I have an interest, I like creating new prototypes or designs of electrical or electronic gadgets. There are various events that are going on in our college for the betterment of the student's skills.

Placements: 100% of placements have been achieved in our branch in the last 4 years. In the time of COVID, when layoffs were a common part of life. Our college was ensuring that no student was left unplaced. The average package is 8.4 LPA and it increases according to market needs.

Infrastructure: Parle Agro has established an underground water recharge system in our college. Air-conditioned classrooms are there. Labs procure equipment from trusted companies which makes the lab experience wonderful. All classrooms are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi.

Faculty: The course curriculum is based on the all-round development of students. The latest AKTU syllabus is followed which gets revised according to new education policy and market trends. Exams are of moderate level. However, there is always a possibility of a tough paper. One needs a command over language and subject matter to score good marks.

Placements: 100% of placements are offered in my course electrical and electronics engineering. The highest package is 21 LPA. The average salary is 6.4 LPA. The lowest salary is 4 LPA. Recruiting companies are JSW, Tata, BHEL, and NTPC.

Infrastructure: Everything is available. MATLAB access is also available for all students. Everyone is supportive and has hygienic foods. It has a big canteen. Medical facilities are available. It has great opportunities for athletes. Sports facilities are awesome in my college i.e., football and cricket.

Faculty: All teachers are helpful and qualified. They are knowledgeable person. They also held an industrial visit for the experience of students, how industries work and learned how to work. Semester exams are easy and papers are always from the syllabus.

Other: We can learn about electrical as well as electronics both systems and some coding also. My college also provides extracurricular activities.

Placements: Our branch, EEE, has a placement rate of 100%, while other branches have a placement rate of 90-95%. The average package for average students is 5LPA, which can go up to 10-12 LPA for students with good knowledge of the subject and field. Top recruiters include HUL, Capgemini, Cognizant, Jaw, Adani, and Tata Power. Many students were able to secure good internships along with jobs at the same companies.

Infrastructure: We have good infrastructure, with air-conditioned classrooms and plenty of labs to learn new technologies, techniques, and advancements in various skills. The mess food is normal; after 2-3 weeks, you might get bored with it. It's just healthy and acceptable to have for a meal.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable; however, their effectiveness can vary by individual, and our impression of a teacher matters. They provide labs and task activities that include technical projects, which help in skill advancement.

Other: The placements are 100% for our branch, along with some interest in the electrical branch, made to enter the course B.Tech in electrical and electronics engineering.
