Kota University offers hostel accommodation for boys, named Saint Pipa. Facilities include, electric fan, a gymnasium, common rooms, mess services and a preference-based admission system prioritising SC/ST, differently-abled, sportspersons and research scholars.
Currently, the UOK library is subscribed to more than 90 printed journals and provides access to various electronic journals through the INFLIBNET Centre in different disciplines and uses the SOUL software for routine library work.
The Central Library of the University of Kota was established in 2003 with the aim of catering to the academic interests of readers such as undergraduates, postgraduates, research scholars, and faculty. It has a collection of thousands of books, including textbooks and reference books on different subjects. The central library has subscriptions to more than 90 printed journals and various electronic journals through the UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium, now known as E-Shodh Sindhu (INFLIBNET Centre), in different disciplines.
The total tuition fee for MA courses at University of Kota ranges from INR 12,000-INR 20,000. Candidates also have to pay tutition fee and hostel fee. Kota University has not released a course-wise placement report for 2023. However, the NIRF placement report for 2023 has been released. As per the report, a total of 11 PG (2-year) students were placed during UOK placements in 2022. The median package offered to PG (2-year) students was INR 2.10 LPA during placements 2022.
The final placement report 2024 is yet to be released. Once it is out, the total number of students placed in 2024 placement at UOK will be updated here. The UOK Sports Board manages an indoor gymnasium hall with facilities for basketball, badminton, wrestling, judo, and table tennis. Outdoor facilities include practice fields for sports such as football, volleyball and an upcoming athletics track for running. The university also organises sports events such as a 4 km race, Run for the Nation, under the Bharat Mera Ghar celebration week. This event was organised by the Department of Physical Education and the Sports Board.
The admissions are expected to commence soon at UOK for the academic year 2025.
