LNMU BTech admission is offered on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Combined Admission Test, conducted by the University. It is a 135 minutes test comprising 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The test comprises 50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Shortlisted candidates are further called for counselling-cum-seat allotment round.
BTech admission at LNMU is subject to the fulfillment of the preset eligibility criteria. To be eligible for admission to the four-year programme, aspirants must have passed in Class 12 or equivalent with at least 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category students) in PCM/PCBM taken together. They must also have separately passed in English. Candidates seeking admission to the BTech (Lateral Entry) course must completed a relevant Diploma. NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 exam date for session 2. JEE Main 2026 session 2 exam will be held from April 2, 2026, to April 9, 2026. JEE Main 2026 session 2 registration will start in the last week of January 2026. The JEE Main Application Form 2026 session 2 will be available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE 2026 session 1 exam will be conducted from Jan 21, 2026, to Jan 30, 2026.
The first session exam was conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2025 (Paper 1), and January 30, 2025 (Paper 2). The second session of JEE Mains was held from April 1 to 8, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 exam date for sessions 1 and 2 can be checked on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
