Absolutely dissastisfied because faculty

Placements: There were total 50 seats for each deparment.In my course (English) we had total 40 student who are pursuing the course. There is no such package as far as i know but they surely do some programs which offers or teaches students how to start something new or fresh. I haven't come in terms with any such companies who recruits students , our Tripura is a small state which doesn't has such things. Its just we gain knowledge from the course we are persuing and after completing we have to find our own jobs in companies we like, there is no such facility that companies recruit students from our university. As i told earlier there is no such facility so the students who completed their post graduation from this university might have got jobs or worked as an intern in companies but it is not something which the university offers but only the knowledge the course offers is the main thing in our university especially the degree. There are so such roles that the university offered us.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms and library is good but we dont have any labs or any wifi connection , there might be wifi connection but it is not available for the students. This university doesnt has offers any hostels. Its only for the students who can afford a rent nearby the umiversity or the students who lives near the university only they should take admission here otherwise they wont to able to complete the course in regular basis. There is no hostels nearby, no canteen or mess neither any medical facilities. There are few sports and games that are played by the students but it is not provided by the university but local boys because there is a field nearby the university where many boys plays cricket and football so university students also join them in their break period

Faculty: The teachers are no doubt knowledgeable,qualified, but not so helpful. No this course doesnot make any students ready for the industry but just makes them better in the subject they are persuing. The exams are tough but doesnt matter as all the students cheat in the exam and if a students who doesnot do all this and complains the faculty just ignore this and doesnt take any serious action regarding this and by this the cheaters got good numbers like 60% and the ones who actually writes by their own gets 40,50%. And the passing marks are 34% in each paper

It was a great college that I have ever seen.

Placements: The percentage of students who were placed in courses is about 80-85%. The highest package is 7.5 LPA, the lowest is 4.5 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA offered in this course. The top recruiting companies for this course are mostly educational institutions. The percentage of students getting internships from this course is 85-90%, and it's mostly in schools or colleges. Teaching and researching are the top roles offered in our course.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are really good, and the Wi-Fi is not available. Labs are okay, but classrooms are also good for students, which is perfect for students. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is good but the quality of food available in the mess is really bad. Medical facilities, sports and games are available as well.

Faculty: Our faculty members are really helpful and qualified. They are also knowledgeable about their subjects and their teaching qualities are good. This course isn't curriculum relevant, but it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are somehow difficult in this college, and the pass percentage is 35%.

Other: I chose this course because I want to be a teacher in English and the best thing about this course is that I got to learn about literature and many more. I would like to improve my reading and writing skills.
