Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith was established in 1921. It has three campuses, that is, Gangapur campus, NTPC campus and Bhairav Talab campus. Besides these campuses, the university also has 10 faculties, four institutes and more than 30 departments in its campus at Varanasi. It further possesses a total of over 350 affiliated colleges in six districts, i.e. Varanasi, Chandauli, Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra and Ballia. Aspirants are shortlisted based on the merit obtained in the qualifying exam. The same for M.Ed ranges between INR 950 - INR 1,050 across different categories. This fee must be paid while filling out the online application form before submission. Those candidates who wish to apply for two or more courses are given a 50% discount on every additional application filled after the first course onward. In addition to filling out the online application, students also have the option to submit the application fee and then download the application form. At the UG level MGKVP Varanasi provides a BBA programme lasting three years. students looking for admission to the programme must fulfil basic eligibility criteria specified by university.
