For MJPRU BTech course admissions, candidates must pass JEE Main entracce with a valid score. This is a national-level entrance exam conducted for all the BTech aspirants. Candidates who qualify for JEE Main entrance exam are required to fill an online application form for admission on the official website of MJPRU. All the JEE Mai qualifiers can submit their scorecard and other qualificational documents by email as per the notification released by the university.

Candidates who are willing for admission to a four-year BTech course at MJPRU must fulfil the basic education requirements as per the university's norms. Candidates who passed a Class 12 with Physics, Chemitry & Mathematics as their subjects are eligible to apply for MJPRU BTech admissions for the first year. However, students who are still appearing in the final examinations of Class 12 will also be able to apply. MJPRU prefers JEE Main rank for BTech admissions. MJPRU admissions are either entrance or merit-based. Candidates have to qualify for the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any of the UG & PG courses. For PG courses, MJPRU conducts the MJPRU entrance exam. Apart from that for courses such as BPharm, BTech, MBA, MCA, etc., the university accepts valid scores of JEE Main, CUET UG & CUET PG entrance exams. Further, for other UG courses, admissions are entirely based on the merit obtained in the previous qualifying exam.
