No, direct admissions to a four-year BTech course is not possible at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University. MJPRU course admissions for a four-year BTech course is entirely based on the candidate's rank in JEE Main. Also, they must have passed Class 12 with PCM as subjects from a recognised board. However, candidates get an option to apply directly for the second year of BTech through a valid score of CUET UG entrance exam. Aspirants are required to pass one of these entrance exam before applying for MJPRU BTech admissions. Only if the seats remain vacant, candidates will get admission based on their scores obtained in the last qualifying exams of Class 12 in case of BTech and Diploma for BTech Lateral Entry courses. 

MJPRU admissions are either entrance or merit-based. Candidates have to qualify for the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any of the UG & PG courses. For PG courses, MJPRU conducts the MJPRU entrance exam. Apart from that for courses such as BPharm, BTech, MBA, MCA, etc., the university accepts valid scores of JEE Main, CUET UG & CUET PG entrance exams. MJPRU Bareilly admissions are both merit and entrance-based for respective UG and PG courses.
