Our college is good for students to prepare for other competitive exams.
Placements: Placements are not good in our college. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. Around 40% of students get placed in the CSE department. Roles offered by companies are associate engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has a large campus which is approximately 36-40 acres because it is located in a village area. The library is in good condition. The hostel infrastructure is quite good but the mess food is horrible.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average. Courses are designed by AKTU. Semester exams are not very difficult but students have to study consistently to clear university exams. Around 70-80% of students pass semester exams every year.
Other: Many courses are offered in our college like computer science and engineering, information technology, EE, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, B.Pharma, and D.Pharma.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Truly speaking, RIMT has an average placement rate. You have to find a job on your own. The highest package offered in this college is 8 LPA, and the lowest package may vary from 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Pie, Infotech Pvt., Ltd., and many more local companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities of RIMT are poor. Labs are not proper as they should be, and the faculty in the college are bad. You can't even learn a small thing from the faculty members. The sports section is well-appreciated. Medical facilities are good, compared to other colleges.
Faculty: I strongly suggest not to take admission in engineering because the faculty here are bad. You have to learn everything on your own to maintain your profile, and you have to face all the struggles on your own to get a job.
Other: I chose this course to learn new technologies in the computer science field, but I was wrong, as whatever I have learned till now, I did it on my own from different online platforms like YouTube, Udemy and many more. The college should improve its infrastructure and facilities and also provide better faculty members.

Overall, it's a tier-3 college with less fees. Students who have financial problems can join.
Placements: Approximately 50% of the students from our course were placed. Students got the highest salary package of 4 LPA and the lowest salary package of 2.5 LPA. Companies like Pie Infocomm, TCS, HCL, etc., offer placements here. One of my seniors got placed in Tencent with a salary package of 25 LPA, which was an off-campus placement. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Internships are not provided by our college, so we have to do on our own.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by our college are average. Our college has a huge library which is a common library for all departments. Our college doesn't have a Wi-Fi facility for all, and labs are just average because teachers do not focus on practical. The equipment is also not available. I was a hosteller from last two years, but this time, I vacated due to the quality of the food served in the mess. It is very poor, but the hostel has a Wi-Fi facility, sports and games facilities. Those facilities are available in college also, and there is also a small hospital on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, but they are not that much qualified or knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is not up to the mark. They teach through old patterns and do not follow the updated study system. By studying all these things, students are not able to adopt in companies. They do not make students ready for the industry, so students have to learn some courses in other institutes to be industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course as I want to become a software developer, and I chose this college because it has less fees. I wish to improve myself as our college doesn't teach about different programming language running in industries. So I will try to learn those languages. Our college also conducts many seminars, workshops and other events. It also conducts many other extracurricular activities. Scholarships are also provided.

The review of the college and students' life in it.
Placements: There are no placements in this college, and this is the most important part of the students' life. Many companies visit my campus and select some students. The placements for B.Sc, polytechnic, BBA, and B.Tech are good, but not very good. The placement section in this college is very poor and not good.
Infrastructure: My college campus is of 24 acres. Different courses are available in my college. The most important thing is there is a playground on the campus. Rajshree Institute of Management and Technology is the very good college.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated in my college. They are problem-solving and helps in the personality development. They help me with any problems. There are faculty members for B.Tech and M.Tech. There are many courses like polytechnic, B.A, B.Sc, BBA, etc. The lab manual is very good.
Other: My college conducts its annual function on the dates of 25 and 26 in February.

In few words, I say that Rajshree Institute of Management and Technology is a good institute.
Placements: Many NCR companies visit the campus for the placement. I was placed in Paytm in 2018 for software developer post. Most of the other students are also placed by the other companies. MBA students deal with placement, and also placed by many of marketing jobs as well as management jobs.
Infrastructure: There are many faculty members, and they are divided into courses like MBA, B.Tech, M.Tech, etc. Internet labs and communication labs are good, but there is lack of books in the library of the college. The medical facility is provided to all the students and faculty by the institute.
Faculty: The faculty members of the institute are qualified and knowledgeable, but not helpful for the students of engineering because the labs of the institute are bad. So, the teachers tried their best for the students of the college. The faculty to student ratio in the institute is 1:40, which is not a good ratio.
Other: The annual event of the institute is named as Aavahn, and it is organised in every year.

Q:   Does the M.Tech Civil Engineering syllabus focus more on theory or practical application?
A:

The M.Tech Civil Engineering syllabus follows a more practical and industry-oriented approach, where students are given advanced-level understanding of Civil Engg. concepts with a focus on a particular area like Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, etc.

There are rigorous theory classes, case studies, field visits, and project work, all of which combined are expected to make the students job-ready for the future.
