The marks scored in the Konkani First or Second language examinations would be equated with the marks of the optional Konkani (the cognate subject) as follows:60% in Konkani First or Second language to 45% of optional Konkani (the cognate subject).Candidates who have passed any Bachelor degree examination of Mangalore University or any other University considered as equivalent thereto and have secured an aggregate minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST/Category-I candidates) marks are also eligible to apply if seats are left vacant after considering applications from category 1 and 2 above. The candidates from this category, i.e.; category 3 would be selected solely on the basis of an entrance test designed to test (a) the candidates' ability to read, write and speak Konkani fluently, and (b) a basic awareness of the literary world of Konkani.
M.ComCandidate must have B.Com/B.B.M or equivalent with mentioned marks in the aggregate in commerce subjects from any recognised university.

UG DiplomaCandidates who have passed the certificate examination in German language conducted by Mangalore University or any other recognised University is eligible for admission. Admission will be made strictly in order of merit of the respective Certificate examination.Candidates who have obtained their certificate in German language from any other institution one year before the year of admission shall be required to appear for an admission test to be conducted by the university.
MBA/PGDMCandidates must have passed Bachelor's degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates). Final year students can also apply on provisional basis.

Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate in Class 12 for UG level admissions and graduation for PG level course admissions. Apart from this, candidates must qualify respective entrance exams for the preferred courses. 
Candidates must apply for the admission process through the online application process provided by the university. The university follows the offline mode of application. Candidates need to download and send the filled form to the university.

Students are admitted to B.PEd. course on the basis of their marks obtained in the entrance test, merit in the qualifying examination, and on the basis of sports representation.

Yes, for taking admissions in Mangalore University, it is necessary to take over KCET entrance exams.

This is 2 2-year program. 

Register for KCET after results are out, do participate in KEA counselling and take the seat in the alloted college.
