My review of this college.
Placements: Placement facility was available in the college. There was a placement cell in the college. Placement cell of our college was highly active, and they made sure that the students got placed in companies like Nestle, ITC, and L&T, which were among the companies that came for placements. The average package was 3.5 LPA. You can work as a content writer, newspaper writers, etc. There were different roles offered, and there were fewer placements compared to other courses. An internship was provided by the college on campus and at some companies some were paid and some were not.
Infrastructure: Hostel was available with proper facilities. Hostel rooms were with sharing and separate options, with reasonable charges. The mess served delicious food and ensured the hygiene and taste were up to the mark. The hostel environment was good and there was a Wi-Fi facility available in the hostel. Our hostel was very secure.
Faculty: The college provided well-qualified faculty members. There were enough lecturers and guest lecturers in every department. Most of them had doctorates and other high degrees. Some had even written academic publications. Many of them have had years of teaching experience, and they shared a good bond with the students too. Exams were divided into mid-semester and final exams, both conducted by the professor assigned to your course. There were written tests, seminars, term papers or even SNAP tests. In linguistic courses, vivas were mandatory the level of exams was easy, so everyone could clear it.

Review of St. Thomas College, Pala.
Placements: Placements are organized by the placement cell. They contact MNCs, and final-year students who want to take up jobs after graduation are called for interviews. I do not think there is any paid internship program in our college, and I have never heard of one. The placement cell conducts interviews for student selection. Third-year students are eligible for the same. Different companies visit the campus and select students according to their interests. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Infosys, and others are the top recruiting companies. They offer an average package of 4.5 LPA, going up to the highest package of 25 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has very good hostel facilities. The rooms are shared by two students. They are neat and clean. The mess food is hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty of the college is good. Almost all teachers have completed their doctorates. All teachers in our department help us understand complex problems simply. Exams are held twice a year, after every six months, following the semester system. Internal exams are conducted regularly. There is enough time between exams. So students do not feel bored or stressed. Exams are held on different days, with at least a two-day gap between corresponding exams. The exam level is moderate, and students can pass if they study throughout the year. The course is very well-designed to meet world-class standards. It is purely designed to help students understand core mathematics, which develops their understanding of the workings and origin of mathematical applications. The course is quite easy. If students prepare for IIT in previous years, the course curriculum becomes easier because most of the first-semester syllabus is covered in the JEE syllabus.

Review of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology.
Placements: The college provides good placement opportunities. The syllabus itself prepares students for interviews, so they can easily get jobs through campus placements or internships. The stipend offered during internships is also good. Students from the CS and IT branches have excellent placement opportunities with mass recruiters like Amazon, Deloitte, ZS, Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. Most students from these branches get placed. The average package is around 4 LPA. The highest package is around 17 LPA, depending on student's skills, experience, and performance. Companies conduct interview rounds and practical tests, and students need to qualify in all stages to secure placements.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good, with separate hostels for boys and girls. Facilities are well maintained. Mess provides hygienic and good quality food.
Faculty: Faculty includes young and experienced teachers. They are knowledgeable, approachable, and experienced in their respective subjects. It makes learning easier for the students. The college conducts one internal exam and one semester exam in each semester. Since it is an autonomous college, the question papers are prepared by the college itself. Attendance is compulsory for appearing in exams. Students with attendance below 75% are considered to have a semester backlog. Students have to pass both the internal and semester exams separately. The course curriculum is good and updated. Every year, the college updates the curriculum to enhance students' skills because the IT industry changes continuously. Therefore, the curriculum for Software Engineering students is also updated regularly. The exam structure is good, with mid-term theory and practical exams, followed by end-semester theory and practical exams. Nearly 70% of the students get internships in different companies.

My experience in this college.
Placements: Placement was good. There was a separate placement cell in the College that offered placement offers students had to register their names. Many reputed companies used to visit our college like TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, FICO, Impetus, VMware, and many more. The average package offered was around 4.5 LPA. The highest package offered was up to 14 LPA. 70% placement is offered to students. There was also a proper guidance programme from the mentors related to a specific field and also students had to score at least 7.5 CGPA to sit in the placement.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility was available and there was a separate hostel for boys and girls. The hostel charges were reasonable so everyone can afford it. There was a 24-hour water supply. The mess food was hygienic. Vegetarian food was offered in the mess. There are separate charges for mess food.
Faculty: Faculty were very good. Many PhD faculty members taught us. They have a lot of experience and have unique personalities and good behaviour with students. They always helped us to fulfil our goals. Their experience was worth their work. They guided us at any step when we wanted and were very knowledgeable and helpful. The semester examination system followed where every year consists of 2 semester exams of 70 marks and 2 mid-semester exams were held between every semester and one practical exam also held along with viva from external examiner which was of 20 marks. The course curriculum was well. As my course was majorly technical with good lab facilities and updated technical equipment and software, regular classes and lab classes helped me to develop my skill set. Also, frequent visits, such as an industrial visit for software development, helped me gain on-the-field knowledge.

St. Teresa’s College review. It is a great place to grow.
Placements: The college offers decent placements. In my course too, people get placements from decent to top MNCs. Deloitte and TCS are among the few that visit my course. The college gives enough exposure and experience to be efficient and hardworking. Overall, it is great.
Infrastructure: The college does not have a ground, but the infrastructure and facilities are top-notch. It is in the central part of the city, so it is always accessible. I really enjoyed my time there. Bus stops and metro stations are nearby. The washrooms and labs are clean and functional.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and energetic. The staff is very cooperative and encouraging. They are more like friends to us. Teachers make us want to come back to college. They are very good and help shape us into better and more productive students.
Other: The college events are amazing.

Overall, a good college. It has a good vision.
Placements: Many students got placed. TCS is one of the top companies recruiting from our college. We have to do projects in the last semesters. It is compulsory. We can also do internships, but it is not necessary. I did my project in TVS. Many other courses are also provided.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. There is a new hostel building. Wi-Fi is provided, and classrooms are good. Library also has a good ambience. Food in the hostel is good. They serve chicken 3 days a week at night, and fish curry 2 days a week in the afternoon. We have active teams for football, volleyball, and basketball also.
Faculty: Teachers are good and friendly. The quality of teaching is okay, and semester exams are not so difficult if we study. It's affiliated with MG University. Some of the teachers in our class are good. We can understand them easily. The pass percentage in my class is higher than in other departments.
Other: I chose this course because I like business. The teaching quality needs a bit of improvement. This college was started in 2014. They have a good vision and will definitely become a top college in Kerala for sure in the future.
