Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) offer full-time MSc course in various specialisations. This PG-level course is also in distance mode. The two-year course is divided into four semesters. MSc course is offered by various MGU-affiliated colleges as well. MG University MSc admissions are conducted through MGU CAT. Admission at the university-affiliated colleges offering MSc courses is also through CPGET/KEAM.

Admission to the PG-level programme is based on MGU CAT score. The entrance examination is conducted by the university for PG courses. After the entrance test, a merit list is published to declare the names of selected candidates
The MGU MSc course aspirants with a valid BSc or equivalent degree with at least 50% aggregate are eligible to apply. 1 - MG University MSc Application Process 2025
MG University MSc application process is conducted through a Common Admission Test (MGU CAT). Candidates have to register online via the official website of MGU CAT to apply for any of the programmes. Below mentioned is the step-wise MG University application process:
a - Visit the official website of MGU CAT, www.cat.mgu.ac.in.
b - Click on new registration and register yourself.
c - Fill in the required academic and personal details.
d - Upload the required documents, including a qualifying exam mark sheet and a passport-size photograph.
e - Pay the application fee online via debit/ credit cards or net banking.

2 - Appear for Entrance Exam
Candidates who have submitted their application successfully need to appear for the MGU CAT exam. In addition, the candidates applying at affiliated colleges that accept CPGET/KEAM scores can skip this step. All the important details related to MGU CAT are published on its official website.
3 - Declaration of Result
After the entrance exam, the university declared a cutoff or selection list. Students must clear the cutoff in order to be eligible.
4 - Admission Confirmation
Selected candidates further shall report for document verification. After the verification, seats are allotted to the eligible candidates. Furthermore, candidates have to pay some fee amount in order to confirm their seat.

Mahatma Gandhi Univerity Common Admission Test (MGU CAT) application fee is announced category-wise. The application fee for general and open all-India quota candidates is INR 1,200 and INR 600 for the SC/ST candidates. Moreover, the fee for international candidates is UD 100. The fee payment shall be accepted in online mode via credit card, debit card, or net banking.
