Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) - Batch of 2025
Offered by MANET-Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training, MIT-ADT University

Absolutely satisfied with MANET.
Placements: As I was among the first batch of ETO in the MANET, our placement department gave good opportunities for every cadet from our batch. Companies like CMA CGM, Eastway, and EPS were the top companies where we got placed. Some cadets got placed in Adani Shipping. From our batch of 13, almost 10 Cadets are already placed after the course completion.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is quite decent, I can say. You can face network issues in some parts of the hostel, but Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. However, sometimes it's not working, and the Wi-Fi range is not available inside the rooms, so we need to open the door and keep it this way, which is a problem in the hostel. Regarding the mess, the food quality was good and very hygienic, but the mess staff were not good at small things, such as if you ask for sugar in curd, they used to refuse and argue for small reasons.
Faculty: For our ETO course, I believe that we got great experience and also the most helpful faculty. Especially our HOD and our course ETO. Final exams are quite simple if you have focused in class and if you're clear with the basics of engineering.
Other: You also get to explore the MIT ADTU campus, and there are good sports activities, as well as an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

Good college, a great placement record, and a supportive environment.
Placements: 80% of students got placed in my batch. The remaining are in process. The highest and the lowest packages are not yet decided. The average package is between 550 and 600 dollars per month. There were multiple companies associated with our institute, like D Amico, Eastern Pacific Shipping, Torm Tankers, and Dynacom Tankers.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the institute are great. The quality of benches, whiteboards, and smart TVs is also best. Mainly, the ventilation is great. All the classrooms are air-conditioned. The library contains all kinds of books that are necessary. The quality of food served in the mess is the best.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They have helping hands. The curriculum is also relevant to industry needs. They make their students industry-ready. They can have a good time in there. There are no such difficulties in giving such a semester. The passing percentage of college is 70%.
Other: This is the short course compared to the others.

Absolutely satisfied with the college faculty, good placements, and facilities on top.
Placements: 95% of the cadets were placed. About the package: the company Eastway offers $800 as a stipend to deck cadets, whereas Eastern Pacific Company gives around $550, and Wilhelmsen Company is offering $400. The top companies were EPS and Eastway.
Infrastructure: All the facilities were well and good. The food was fine, not so great, but the classrooms, rules and regulations, sports department, and labs were up to date. Wi-Fi connectivity is strong. Phones are not allowed in the classrooms; you have to keep them in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful. They will provide you with the utmost knowledge whenever you ask for it. The semester exams are quite moderate, and if you study well, you will definitely pass with great marks. The passing percentage is 50% for DNS. The course curriculum is perfectly created. Knowledge is flowing in this.
Other: The best thing about this course is that you get to complete it in 1 year. You will gain a lot of experience in this time.

MANET's review of the academy.
Placements: The placement for B.Sc. Nautical Science is 100%. The placement for B.Tech is also 100%. We have to be clear in all subjects to get placement, and the average package here in MANET is around 5 Lacs per annum. The top recruits are Molta, BW, and Maersk Line.
Infrastructure: We have a clean mess here in Manet, and the food is also good. In each and every room in the hostel, we have Wi-Fi access, and the speed is also very good. The rooms are clean and spacious for three people. We have access to the library with more than 11k books.
Faculty: The marine and non-marine faculty are good, and they have more than 15 years of teaching experience. Till the end of the course, the student is fully prepared for the industry demands with much knowledge. The semester is difficult, and the passing percentage is 60%.

Very good infrastructure and the best mess food, with good placements and valuable education.
Placements: Approximately 90% students are placed. The highest package is 800$, the lowest is 300$, and the average is 500$. Top companies are the BW Shipping Company and Williamson Shipping Company. Captain, after completing a B.Sc. in Nautical Science, typically we start as a Deck Cadet and progress through ranks like 3rd Officer, 2nd Officer, and Chief Officer, eventually aiming for the position of Captain. Onshore opportunities include roles in ship management, port operations, marine surveying, and maritime instruction.
Infrastructure: Almost everything is available in our department with the best quality and in working condition. In the hostel, we get the best facilities, and the food is really good. I personally like the food in our mess. We have the best infrastructure for sports and extracurricular activities.
