This creative project was created at MBU's IDEA Lab, which helps students turn their original concepts into useful goods or prototypes for the community. AICTE and Host Institute contributed a total of 1.13 crores to the establishment of the IDEA lab. 

National Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Bio-Medical Signal Processing, Computing and Data Communication Systems (NCABCD - 2024)

 

April 4, 2023: The 3rd – 4th of April, 2024, is the scheduled date of the National Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Bio-Medical Signal Processing, Computing, and Data Communication Systems (NCABCD – 2024), which is proudly announced by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Mohan Babu University, Tirupati. To solve problems and create new opportunities in the healthcare industry, this conference intends to make use of multidisciplinary collaboration amongst experts in AI, signal processing, computers, and communication systems.

The Mohan Babu University Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the main organizers of the event. Two notable keynote speakers are Dr. Noor Mahammad Sk, an associate professor at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Kancheepuram, and Mrs. Ponsana David, the chief executive officer of Thai Green Power Solution, located in Bangkok. Prominent attendees are anticipated to include Mr. Kandaswamy Murugesan, the founder, chairman, and managing director of Thai Green Power Solution, located in Bangkok.

The panel discussion's primary subject was "Blockchain Technology for Renewable Energy," during which experts discussed how blockchain technology can be used for peer-to-peer energy trading, energy traceability, decentralization, transparent and secure transactions, and carbon emissions tracking. The conference is aimed at B.Tech and M.Tech students as well as research experts, and 600 people from different universities are anticipated to attend.

There is no proper freedom and no allowance for mobile phones.

Placements: 20 percent of students get placed. The average package is 4 LPA, and the highest package is 10 LPA. About 10 to 20 percent of students get internships for developer and programmer roles. Many companies like Deloitte and Infosys are the main recruiters here.

A small opinion on my college.

Placements: For the 2024 batch, MBU reported that 112 recruiters participated and offered 2,084 job offers. The highest package offered is 60 LPA allegedly by Google. The average package overall for 2023 placements is reported as 5.8 LPA. As per one report, about 45 percent of students got placed in MNCs with packages exceeding 6 LPA. Over the last few years, MBU claims to have delivered 6,000+ placements in 250+ MNCs.

Good campus, hostel and college.

Placements: I am from the 2024 batch of the CSE course. Around 85% of students are placed. The highest package is 18 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys and Wipro. Nearly 70% of students got internships in similar companies.

It has good placements and strong infrastructure with a highly disciplined campus environment.

Placements: Only 25 percent of students are placed according to our course. The highest package is 60 LPA offered by Amazon. The average package was 5.8 LPA for the year 2024. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Google, HCL, Cognizant and Infosys. 80 percent of students got internships from my course. Roles offered are software developer and software engineer. When compared to other colleges, it's better at placements.

Good infrastructure, but no ground for a university.

Placements: 50 percent of students are placed, the highest package is 60 LPA, the lowest package is 2.5 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Yamaha Motors, Cognizant, Coincent, and some more companies. 80 percent got internships. AI engineer, machine learning, deep learning, and AIML engineer roles are offered.

Absolutely dissatisfied with faculty. Placements were good before, but not now.

Placements: Around 500 students in their 4th year get placed. The highest package is around 12–24 LPA. The lowest package is around 3–4 LPA. Companies like Cognizant, Infosys, and Deloitte visit every year. Some students also get internships.
