No, NITTE University offers entrance-based admission to BTech. Candidates are required to apply and appear for the NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test) conducted by the university. After filling out the eligibility criteria candidates are required to apply on the official website of the university. After all the procedures the university releases its merit list. If the candidates are shortlisted on merit they are required to pay the admission fee to lock their final seats.

To get a seat to MBBS at KIMS Karad, candidates must appear for NEET UG entrance exam. NITTE offers several courses such as BSc, MBBS, MD/MS, MPH, MHAHSM, MCh, PhD, Advanced Trauma Life Support India program, EASC, BDS, MDS, Certificate (Dentistry), GNM, PB BSc, PB Diploma, BPharm, DPharm, MPharm, PharmD, BPT, MPT, BSc (Hons), BA and MA.
Students with a minimum cutoff for B.Tech can get a seat at Nitte (Deemed to be University) if they meet the eligibility criteria. For admission to the B.Tech program at Nitte University, candidates need to pass Class 12 or equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks in aggregate in specific subjects like Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, among others. Admission under the General Category is based on merit in the All India Entrance Test - NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test). Candidates with a minimum of 55% marks (45% for reserved categories) are eligible for admission at Nitte University
No, students will not be allowed to download a copy of the KMAT admit card 2025 after the exam is over. KMAT admit can downloading link will only be live form the day of release till the exam day.
The admit card may also not be accessible in the student dashboard after the exam or result announcement. Moreover, since the signed and stamped admit card will be considered valid for any activity post the exam, even if you can download a fresh copy after the exam day, it will be of no use. So, students should keep their KMAT admit card safe even after the exam.
There is no age limit to appear for CAT. The CAT exam is open for fresh graduates as well as working professionals. Since CAT is accepted by over 1300 B-schools across India for their full-time as well as executive MBA or online professional courses, a lot of working professionals appear for the CAT to pursue such courses. CAT score is accepted by Iims for full time MBA, executive MBA and FPM programmes.
Other top MBA colleges in India also shortlist candidates for executive MBA or part-time MBA on the basis of CAT score. The minimum age limit for has to be 20 years as the minimum qualification for CAT exam graduation. Any candidate who has completed Graduation with 50 per cent aggregate (45 per cent for SC/ST candidates).
Any candidate in final year of Bachelor's degree course can appear in CAT exam. Any candidate having a professional degree like CA/CS/ICWAI with a minimum of 50 per cent in aggregate.

No, NITTE is a university, whereas the NMIT is the college under it. Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology Bengaluru Karnataka has been approved by the AICTE and is a constituent college of Nitte (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru. Hence, one is a university and the other one is its college.
