The Best College Which Gives High-Quality Education.
Placements: The Department conducts programs that help the students enhance their knowledge and equip themselves with industry-relevant skills and technology. Soft skills training is arranged to help the students ace the selection process and give them a superior edge in the competitive job markets. Non-placed students are assisted with placements for a year after their graduation through 'Off-Campus' initiatives and referrals.
Infrastructure: The college entrance is full of green trees. But there is a bad smell that is unbearable; it must be cleaned every day to prevent that. The college is away from the city, so there is less pollution. The college has Wi-Fi, but speed is an issue. The college library has many books, newspapers, notes, and study materials. The hostel has separate blocks for girls and boys; in one room, 2 people stay with attached washrooms.
Faculty: The teachers provide high-quality education, making students industry-ready through skill development courses. All faculty members are friendly and approachable, helping us solve any problems and relieving stress. Well-experienced professors guide the students well.
Other: Incridia (fest) is the main highlight of this campus.

Our college provides excellent education.
Placements: About 40% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are JSW Group, Nidec-Read, etc. Almost 100% of students got internships in various companies. Students who know coding can get a testing role.
Infrastructure: Our department provides very good lab facilities. Classrooms are well-maintained and well-designed. We have a departmental library. It has various books and journals. The hostel facilities are good. The hostel has good rooms. The infrastructure of our college is well-designed.
Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent. All teachers are very kind, helpful, and very friendly. They help us at any time. They are always available for us. All courses are very good. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is around 80-90%.

I am satisfied with the education provided by the college.
Placements: Nearly 60-70% of students in our course got placed. The average salary package offered ranges between 3-4 LPA. Hardly a few students from our course got an internship at our college. The average salary package offered in our course was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. A top role offered to the students is site engineers.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were good, but it would have been better. Labs were average. At our time not much-advanced machines were introduced. We use to take readings on old machines, and they do not give accurate answers. The college does not provide Wi-Fi facility for students.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were good, helpful, knowledgeable and qualified. Their teaching quality was good. The course curriculum was not up to date, and the syllabus made the students industry-ready. It provided up to date knowledgeable for students.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like the course. The best thing about the course is civil engineering people build the infrastructure.

A well balanced college with good infrastructure, faculty, mediocre curriculum.
Placements: In the year 2016-2017 around 600 students were placed across 70 odd companies. The major recruitment usually happened for Computer Science, IT and Electronics courses. Mass recruiters like Infosys and Accenture recruit from all courses. Specifically for the Civil Engineering course, the core companies are limited and offer an average salary of 15,00 to 20,000 per month. As per my knowledge, the highest package was offered by Wallmart Labs who recruited one guy from Computer Science course. The package was around 10 Lacs annually (approximately. ). As per the Internships, it is not made mandatory by the college, so a very few students voluntarily go for internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure were pretty good for our department. The labs were well-equipped with instruments and devices relevant to the subject. Classrooms were spacious with good furniture and facilities like water cooler and restrooms were well placed across the campus. The campus had good Wi-Fi coverage with great data speed. Canteens maintained sanitary standards. Overall the quality of the facilities was good.
Faculty: The majority of the faculty was good and well informed about the subject. Use of digital mediums like presentations, videos were encouraged to teach and make the students understand concepts. Although, the curriculum was not updated frequently. There were many topics which were outdated or not relevant to the current or practical practices.
Other: Civil Engineering is a course where one can see what's happening with the concepts that we learn and that was the major reason why I chose this course. The best thing about this course was the practical sessions we had which solidified the theory that we would learn in classrooms. I wish the tops were more relevant to the modern practices because as we learned about the real-world applications we realised 40% of what we were though were outdated. The campus takes its fests seriously. It gave us the opportunities to explore our passion, our mageral skills and our ability to take immense pressure and deliver on our tasks.

It's a good place to study and make a good career.
Placements: Placements for the civil and mechanical branches were not available during my tenure. There was only IT recruitment. The highest salary package offered was 16.5 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Spaninfotech, Robosoft, VM Ware, etc., visited the campus for placements. There were no such internships for students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in our college were good. The library was good and equipped with good books. There is a good place to read along with the digital library facility. Medical facilities were available in our college. A doctor visited the college every day. We had good support for games and sports. There was an indoor stadium and a cricket stadium.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were highly knowledgeable, very helpful, and qualified. The quality of teaching was awesome as we had different teachers for different subjects. The faculty to student ratio in our college is 1:8. We had a course curriculum designed by Civil Simplified.

No placements for civil and mechanical engineering students. It is a good college for CS students.
Placements: Only one company came and selected one student in civil engineering. Even it is the same case in mechanical engineering, but there is huge recruitment by some (mass recruitment) companies to the computer science and information science branches. The placements are okay for electronic & communication, and electrical engineering.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average since the college is very old. The environment is good because it is not located in the city. The faculty members are good and experienced. Food facilities are good, but there is no other option. The college is clean, and labs equipment are little old. There is a good playing area.
Faculty: Faculty are good, experienced, and professors are very friendly, but they are practising old subjects or useless topics. First year is useless, and lectures are very strict in the first year, but they will be friends in the final year. Overall, faculty are good.
Other: Fests will be awesome.

I am satisfied with everything that I am getting and that I got from my college.
Placements: It has good placement for IT sector like Sony, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, and many more. There are few placements for civil and some for mechanical like L&T, etc. The highest placement took place in 2017, that is around 700-800 students were selected, and the lowest was around 300-500. It has placement cell, and it is too efficient. They train us very well and support us and tell the selected student to organise some exam, so the junior get to know what to do during placement, and it is mandatory for all to attend.
Infrastructure: The college has good Wi-Fi networks for the students. Its speed is 100 MBPS, it is provided on the campus and even in the hostel. It has a well-equipped lab for all the branch and from next year (2019), they have planned to replace the outdated subject with a new one. The lab is safe. There are good classrooms with spacious room, neat, and clean, and has a water filter and washroom available on each floor. They provided lifts, and some classrooms have A/C installed. The college has also provided with 3 indoor auditoriums with A/C and outdoor auditorium too. It is huge. It has good medical facilities and even security, all the problems in the college are handled very well. When comes to sports, it is provided with everything that is basketball, football, cricket, weight lifting, wrestling, table tennis, ball badminton, hockey, etc. They have built basketball stadium, hockey ground, 200 meters running track, the cricket ground. There are 3 gyms with a good trainer. One of the 2015 batch student has come 15th rank in national level body building show.
Faculty: It is the outcome based course where you will think to apply in real life. The college has well-trained and good knowledgeable faculty which are very helpful and friendly to the students. They guide us and give some inspirational talks so that we can do something to come up in life. They teach us with a good example. Industry exposure is too rare.
Other: The college allows the student to perform multiple events and has one fest in each semester. One is tech fest in the odd sem and cultural fest in the even sem. There are too many clubs organised by students where they take part in many events at different colleges like IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur etc. The club's that are well going are aeroclub where it is based on aeroplanes, drones, etc. The other club is Team Nitte Racing (TNR), this club is handled by mechanical engineer where they build up Go Kart and run a race. The other is Aura club, and this is socialised club where they go to visit an orphanage and conduct some programs, clubs like the stereo club and many more. It is fun. There are many scholarships for all different kind of students.

Satisfactory placement, infrastructure, curriculum. Boon for nature lovers.
Placements: Placement was good For CS, ECE & IS branches. Jobs offered were for a software engineer or developer. For core branches, merely 4-5 companies visited. The package for software jobs ranged from 3 to 10 lakhs. Worst placement record was for civil engineering. One good point is that it has been awarded as one of the best start-up districts. It has got a platform known as NAIN club, which encourages the students to work on their innovative ideas. It also helps them in providing fund from the state govt.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is provided. The library is well equipped. Sports facilities are also well equipped with 2 gyms, an indoor stadium, 3 playgrounds for different games. No swimming pool is there. Hostels are well equipped, except 1 block which is oldest i.e. they are a little congested.
Faculty: The course curriculum is as per VTU norms. It is an autonomous body with NAAC accreditation. All facilities are not good. Many are those who just don't deserve to be a part of the faculty as they are neither good motivators nor learned personalities. But there are a few teachers who will just introduce you to a new world of engineering, and will boost you to develop a thinking of your own. It provides certain courses which are very important in the corporate world whereas it lacks in certain areas as well.
Other: They are a little biased against you if you are not from Karnataka. But if you are going to work hard and show them with your talent, they will surely help you. Nobody is going to force you to give you your best. You have to show it here. The best part is being an autonomous college where the lecturers have the power to provide you marks as per their wish, but they are honest in that part. But in a few labs, you will feel that they are biased and will help out the students from their area. But don't worry of you dream of becoming an engineer, you need to learn self-assessment honestly. If you feel you have been a prey of biasing, fight for it. You will win for sure.
