The cutoff for CLAT varies each year, and for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program, the CLAT cutoff for DSNLU closed at 2080 AIR after the 5th round of Counseling in 2023. Therefore, candidates need to meet the CLAT cutoff rank to be eligible for admission to the program.

In 2023, the DSNLU cutoff rank for the PG course LL.M. in Criminal Law was 2583; in 2022, it was 1637; and in 2021, it was 1134. Over the past three years, DSNLU has seen an increase in the number of LLM in Criminal Law programs. Applicants who want to be admitted to DSNLU's LLB and LLM programs in 2024 must take the CLAT.

CNLU offers CLAT counseling to applicants who want to be admitted to law programs. Those who pass the CLAT exam are invited to the CLAT Counseling. Yes, DSNLU offers one-year LLM programme. The PG-level course is made available in a full-time mode. Candidates seeking admission need to have a valid CLAT score to secure a seat. Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) was established in 2008. DSNLU offers LLM at PG level across one specialisation including LL.M. in Criminal Law. Candidates must have a valid CLAT score in order to be eligible for DSNLU LLM admissions offered through CLAT Counselling.  Tabulated below are the closing ranks for DSNLU cutoff 2023 LLM courses:

For admission to DSNLU Visakhapatnam for the LLB or LLM course, the result of CLAT 2024 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CLAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for DSNLU Visakhapatnam admission via CLAT counselling and seat allotment.

Yes, NLU Visakhapatnam have seats reserved for candidates belonging to SC/ST category. A relaxation of 5% is also given to these candidates in eligibility requirements. To get admission in a reserved seat, candidates are required to submit the category certificate issued by a authorised body. 

The eligibility criteria for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program at Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) is that the candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks for Unreserved/OBC/SAP categories, and 40% marks for SC/ST categories.
