Admission to Osmania University BTech requires that the candidates give the TG EAPCET exam. In order to get admission and be eligible for taking the TG EAPCET (previously TS EAMCET) entrance examination, candidates have to apply for centralized state counseling. Detailed step-by-step application process for OU BTech/BE is:
- Go to the official website of TG EAPCET-2026: eapcet.tgche.ac.in
- Click on the “Pay Registration Fee” option.
- Enter the necessary details in the “Payment Verification Webpage”, including some personal and academic details. Click on “Proceed to payment” and proceed to pay through online means. The amount charged is Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/BC and Rs. 900/- for other categories.
- Click on “Fill Online Application”. Enter your Payment Reference ID, qualifying exam latest 2nd year Hall Ticket Number, mobile number and date of birth.

With an EAMCET rank of 33,298, you cannot get a full 100% tuition fee waiver under the standard 10,000 rank rule.
If you belong to the SC or ST category, your fee may be reduced as full fee reimbursement regardless of your rank, if you meet the income criteria.

No, there are no such reserved seats at Osmania University for non-local students. Approximately 85% of the seats available at Osmania University MBA course are reserved for local students. The rest of the seats are available to both types of candidates.
