Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty, good placements in 2020.
Placements: I'm doing B.Tech Civil Engineering. Around 60% of students were placed in my course, last year. The highest package was 50K per month. The lowest package was 20K per month. The average package was 30K per month. TCS is the top recruiting company for the course.
Infrastructure: All the departmental facilities have separate buildings and blocks, like department of engineering, department of physical Science, department of life Science, department of agriculture and so on. The whole campus have proper provided Wi-Fi connection. There are labs to the respective subject, well-equipped with atleast 2 lab instructors each. There's a well lit library in the middle of the campus having proper information and books.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is far more best because all the teachers have experience in their own respected fields, so that makes the teaching more effective and valuable. Yes, this course is curriculum relevant. And yes, it does make the students industry ready. The bar is set to the above average in the lever of difficulty of the end semester exams. And the passing percentage is 40%. .

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: Placements of the college are very bad. Some companies have visited our campus and recruited some students including me. Then, they have assured us that they will provide us with a call letter, but no one has received one yet. Not even a single student got a call from them, and the same thing happened for the other engineering branches also.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and well-maintained. Benches in the classroom are in good condition and comfortable to sit. The library is also quite good and helpful. Labs are also good. Sports facilities were not that good. Wi-Fi facility was also quite good.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are quite good and helpful to the students. All the faculty members are qualified and have good knowledge of their respective subjects. We didn't get any sort of industry exposure. The course curriculum is not that useful. Teaching quality was just okay. The student to faculty ratio is 6:1.
Other: The college crowd was good.

It is not a good college for the bright students. In terms of infrastructure, it is good.
Placements: No one from my batch got the placement, and only 5-7 students out of our senior batch were placed. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 40,000 per month and the average salary package offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. The lowest salary package offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Only a few companies visit the campus, and they don't disclose any details about the roles offered during the placement drives. Around 25% of the students got internship opportunities from the college. There is a placement cell in the college.
Infrastructure: PDM university has all the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, medical, sports and games etc. The quality of the labs is very good, and the classes are good as well. The quality of food offered in the canteen is good. The hostel rooms are well ventilated. There were no issues regarding the infrastructure during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and well qualified. They have vast knowledge about their subject. Their teaching quality is excellent. They use theoretical and practical methods to teach us. A teacher is appointed for one class to teach a particular subject. I received good industry exposure here.
Other: PDM University organises a lot of events and fests. Campus crowd is average, and the connectivity is good.

A good college to do Civil Engineering.
Placements: The placement of core branch even in PDM is a few. Most of us go for jobs in the non-core sector. The average package of civil engineering in 4-year B.Tech course in 2016 was 6.9 LPA. The average package in dual degree was 7.1 LPA, and believe me, and we even get the offers below 5 LPA. Almost every student get an offer. The internship can be easily applied through your department.
Infrastructure: The lab facilities are of the highest order. Excellent Wi-Fi network throughout the entire campus can be seen. The library here is awesome. Also, sports and games are really given importance, and the infrastructure for the same is of the top notch. Medical facilities are below average and need a lot of improvement.
Faculty: I can't judge at once, all professors there are different types of professors, few are very well educated, but explanation skills are weak. Few professors are very enthusiastic to teach different things and practical situations at every possible time. Overall, if considered, it should be improved a bit.

Very good infrastructure and teachers are helpful.
Placements: There is good percentage for placement in very good companies like lnt, omaxe, few international companies Private companies. They offered well salary packages. They offered Engineer, junior engineer, senior engineer etc. Very low students get internship in it that was very good experience of having a interview.
Infrastructure: The college is providing us very good facilities. there was no infrastructure issue in our college. The classrooms, labs, library, medical and sports facilites are available and the campus is green and fully clean. the canteens are clean, very well hygiene. we love to sit there in the canteen.
Faculty: I completed my education in civil engineer so I can tell about my field. Our teachers was very supporting, helpful. they always ready for our help. They have good techniques to teach and all the teachers are very educated and soft.
Other: Every year there was a fest in the college which we enjoy the most.
