Our college is average, but faculty members are good.

Placements: Mostly intelligent students get placed here. Almost all students got an internship, but it is of no use. Only a few students manage to get an internship in good companies. Hardly any huge companies offer placements in our college, and they even do not hire a single student from the college.

Infrastructure: Quality of food served is not satisfactory. According to the fees charged, the facilities provided by the college are very poor. A mess is not air-conditioned. Quality of food served is poor, and we had to stand in queue for chapatis. Sports facilities are poor, and library facilities are also poor.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. They help each student to study, and they clear their doubts. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for the industry. Our college conducts industrial visits. Our college provides guest lectures and workshop by different experts throughout the year.

Placements: Placements provided in our college are good enough. The college is a private college and the number of companies providing placements is good. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Many good companies offer placements in our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very vast and well maintained. There is a proper garden as well, and classrooms are equipped with smart classes. Labs are also well maintained. Hostel and medical facilities are also good. The mess and the canteen are also hygienic.

Facilities and infrastructure is good

Placements: The students scoring above 55-60% are placed from our course. The highest package have gone till 10 Lacs and the lowest pack will be 3-3.5 Lacs the companies like satya, raheja and l&t are recruiting the students. Students also selected for the designing companies.

Infrastructure: All classes are well-equipped with the proper instrument. Wi-Fi are available in all the classes, labs are well-equipped with the new technology. All books are available. Mess food quality is not well. Canteen is available in the college. Medical facilities are available in the college. Sports and games are played regularly.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful. They provided notes regularly. Teachers are well qualified and have experience and knowledge. They clear all the doubts by the students and the teaching technique is quite well. This course is very relevant in today's date.

Overall, it is a good university.

Placements: The college provides opportunities to students, and a few students even got the job. The senior batch also got placements and was very happy that they got placed in companies. This year, Byju's visited our campus and offered the highest salary package of 7+3 LPA (package + incentive), and one of the students got placed in the company.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are average, and the labs are good. There is all the required equipment for the course. There is air-conditioner in all the classrooms. The library has all the required books for the course from 1st-year to 4th-year. There are a lot of canteens in the college, so quality and taste of food have never been an issue.

Faculty: Most of the teachers were educated and knowledgeable and were very helpful in the course. They helped us in the labs as well and conducted a site visit. They helped us in every possible way to be it in studies or any other problem.

Other: There are many events in the college, mainly Diwali and Holi fests. They even invite celebrities during events in college and for promotions.

A poorly administered college, which is trying to copy Amity University.

Placements: SGT Institute of Engineering and Technology was affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. Due to extensive corruption activities in the university, till 2013, the deserving students failed while the non-deserving students were placed. I should say that there is no relation between what you write in the exam and the marks you get. This makes 42-43 out of 45 students of civil engineering branch still left with reappears by the end of the course. Hence, no company visited for placements. The scenario is the same for our seniors and my immediate juniors.

Infrastructure: The classrooms in the college are air-conditioned. The labs and library are well-equipped. The medical facility is also good as there is a renowned charitable hospital available on the campus. The police station of this area is also there on the campus. There are some problems on the campus as well. You are not allowed to go out of the campus before 4 pm even if your classes get over before that. You are not allowed to sit in the library or canteen if you have a class going on. You can't even take out your own vehicle before 4 pm. If you do not have any vehicle, then you can somehow jump out of the campus. But then, you will have to travel for 2 km either on foot or can ask lift from someone to avail the public transport as very few public transports (buses and shared-autorickshaw) plies on that road. The college buses ply at 5 pm because the dispersal time for medical college is 5 pm. The students and faculty members of the medical and dental college are asked to occupy the seats first in the bus. If there is any seat left, then the engineering students and faculty members can sit there while others will have to just stand there. The administration does this as most of the revenue comes from medical and dental college, and the administration department wants to pamper them even though the fees for the bus is the same for all. The administration of the college is just pathetic. It is no less than a government office where you do not find people at their places for hours, and if you want to get your work done, then you will have to search for them in the entire 80-acre campus. I would like to share an incident. After completion of my course, one day I went to the college to collect my degree certificate as I had to apply for post-graduation and it was urgent. For that, I needed our dean's signature on an application. The dean yelled at me and asked me to wait for sometime. It took me one complete day (10 am to 5 pm) to get the formalities done as you won't find people at their places. Still, I could not get the certificate. Next day my father went to the college to collect the degree and the same person was rude to my father too, and my father had to wait for 3-4 hours just to get the certificate. I wonder how a college, which has such poor management, offers graduation and even post-graduation in business administration.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college are fine. They are knowledgeable enough to teach and explain you various concepts. They have good knowledge and good teaching skills. There are not more than 60 students in a classroom. The college takes certain steps so that students could get some exposure, but these attempts go in vain as the problem is that the students who take engineering not because they want to become an engineer but because they consider this degree as more prestigious than other degrees. Exposure can be given only when the students are passionate. Actually, this is the case with all the engineering colleges of this level.

Other: The college organises various events in which the Bollywood celebrities like Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, and Tiger Shroff, etc., visit to promote their movies. On the terrace of the college, there are farmlands. There is no point in even thinking about bunking if you have entered the college. If you have a class, you are not allowed to sit in the library or the canteen. You are not allowed to leave the campus before 4 pm. There is no public in the radius of 2 km. Getting Ola or Uber cab in that region is difficult. My advice is to go to the canteen of the college during lunch time and interact with the students to get your queries solved.
