Periyar Maniammai University students are eligible to apply for scholarships under various categories. Periyar Maniammai University offers scholarships as financial assistance to meritorious students. Scholarship are disbursed to students as per the following criteria:

• Based on their marks scored in Class 12 and in JEE or equivalent or PMIST Entrance Test for BTech programmes (Up to INR 1.8 lakh).
• For the BCom, BA, BBA, B.Ed and BSc programmes, the scholarship will be based on Class 12 marks and the PMIST Entrance Test (Up to INR 15,000).
• The sanctioned scholarship will be offered to students throughout the programme subject to the conditions that they have a minimum of 80% attendance in the previous academic year.
