Personal university experience.

Placements: Placements in this department are well-organised. Many top companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc., come here. 90% of students got placed in the passed-out batch. Positions like production engineer, design engineer, and robotics roles are offered by companies.

Infrastructure: The department of EEE consists of an electrical machines lab, electrical circuits lab, power electronics lab, control systems lab, analog electronics lab, and simulation lab. The campus is equipped with free Wi-Fi for educational purposes. Arjun Singh Library is one of the big libraries in the university which consists of many books for each department.

Faculty: The faculty members here are well-trained and qualified. They've done Phds in the field. They train students for real-time experience. The courses provided here are up to date for the world technologies. They also train students for GATE entrance exams.

Other: The EEE course is one of the foundation courses. By studying EEE, we can opt for jobs in production, industry, and IT sides. All departments conduct inter-college symposiums and a Pongal fest. It is one of the major functions that happen in the university. The university is certified as a green campus. We can find an incubation centre which helps students with startups and entrepreneurship ideas. One can improve their knowledge and skills if one finds the right use of this campus.

Good infrastructure, good hostels. Good campus placement for 2019 is good.

Placements: I studied in the period of 2012 to 2016, at that time the placement opportunities was comparatively less. But in the meantime (in 2018 to 2020). The placement opportunities are improved a lot, the core company opportunities are a lot better. I studied EEE. Internship B.Arch students are going to Bangalore for their intern.

Infrastructure: My college is fully Wi-Fi function is available for free (only for laptop). They gave more importance to labs. So lab facility are very good. (Hostel) Hostel are very good, for ladies there are 3 ladies hostels are available (Wi-Fi also in hostel). Hostel foods are in very good. Outside canteen also in the college is very good. For boys one large hostels. Both hostels have emergency ups are equipped. (Games) We have indoor stadium. Ground and gym also, we connect sports show in very big way of connect.

Faculty: All the teachers are mostly in Ph.D. staffs. They are more knowledgeable person. In EEE the course curriculum are very good. In every semester leave students should go to industrial visit. It is very must one it's in our part of course. The external professor are also be brought by our college to enchange our students.

Other: I choose electrical and electronics engineering because it's the features. The events are very well organiser the fest and open University are held in super way. Lot of other colleges students are participated in our function. Scholarship are provided to sports students and higher mark students.

Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: I am AEEE student, and I got placed in a BBO. The placements for computer science groups are arranged, and senior students are also placed in BBO companies. The top students are placed in ISRO, and the starting salary is above Rs. 10,000 per month. The internships for B.Arch students are there.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There are facilities like a laboratory, library, indoor for sports, gym, nice hostel (for women, there are 3 hostels are present). It is Wi-Fi enabled campus. The classrooms are very modern. There is a hospital in the college for the students. There is a hostel for boys and girls also. There is a canteen, and good food is provided. The hostel rooms are in free space. There is a separate bathroom for girls. It's a raging free campus.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-knowledgeable. Mostly, they are the PhD holder, and the course curriculum is update ones. We visit the ISRO in Kerala and nuclear power plant, and the teaching quality is average. The teaching is okay. Otherwise, evening classes are arranged.

Other: The Wi-Fi is free in the campus, every year, lots of events are happening, and lots of scholarship are provided for the poor students and sports students.
