Good infrastructure and a carbon free campus.

Placements: Our department helps a lot during the placement process. They help everyone personally. Though we are in small numbers, many have been placed in a placement. They motivate us and are ready to help us 24/7. They guide us during the resume-building process. Students who got their placements are in nice companies.

Infrastructure: Our department requires a lot of machinery which is currently available in this university. All the equipment required is well-maintained and good to use. We will be welcome with bundles of books, novels, etc., as soon as you enter the main library. There is an option for E-library as well.

Faculty: The staff in our department help and guide us during exams. They clear all our doubts regarding the subject not only the one they are teaching us but also other subjects if the respected staff is not available. The course curriculum is nice.

Other: I chose this course because I was mesmerized by how the buildings were constructed. No matter how hard the design was. I chose this university because of the availability of the instruments and lab facilities.

Good campus with better infrastructure.

Placements: The campus is very good at providing placements. I have seen my seniors got placed in good companies. The staff in the department train students to crack placements. They are ready to guide us no matter how busy they are. This way many of them have been placed om this department.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and lecture halls are spacious with an availability of projectors. The campus has a huge library with a good collection of books and digital resources. Food in the canteen is hygienic. The campus provides clean, safe, and comfortable hostel rooms. They prioritize sports with a huge playground. The campus itself has medical facilities with a hospital.

Faculty: The syllabus promotes skill development, critical thinking, and research. The college uses modern techniques for teaching like interactive sessions, case studies, and digital tools. There is a proper balance between internal assignments, practicals, and final exams.

Other: The campus is surrounded by good infrastructure. Scholarships are provided.

A review of Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science and Technology

Placements: The previous year, the placements in our college were good. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. If students attend the placement training, they can gain enough knowledge of the companies that visit the college. Every year, students attend a training programme. Our college has a separate placement training cell.

Infrastructure: Our college campus is very big. Overall, the infrastructure of our college is always good. Free Wi-Fi facility is provided in the hostel and college. The food served in the hostel and canteen is clean, healthy, and hygiene. They encourage students in sports and education. Medical facilities are also good.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, and they take care of students. Faculty members are PhD holders in their respective fields. They clear the doubts of students at any time. Student and faculty ratio is good. Their way of teaching is very well, and they teach the topics interestingly for students.

Other: Events are held in the college.

One of the good universities to gain knowledge because of faculty members and friendly campus.

Placements: The placements were very good for our batch as many civil engineering companies like Cadd, Survey Company, Construction Company, etc. came to our university for recruiting students. My friends got selected in various companies in Tamil Nadu. The salary package was around 8-9 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: The facilities in my university are very good as the whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled with smart rooms. The library is very big as its building itself is 6 floors and lakhs of books are there. Food quality was also very nice, the breakfast, lunch and snacks were tasty. Labs and classrooms are well maintained and cleaned.

Faculty: My faculty members are very helpful as they always guide and help me in every aspect of my curriculum. They used laptops for teaching process. I got the in-plant training session for my first three years as it helped me to gain knowledge in my field of study.
