PRIST University has a good placement record. According to reports more than 80% of students get placed every year. Wipro, Capgemini, Mahindra, TCS, and Sunpharma were the top recruiters who participated in the placement drives. The university has a separate Training Placement cell which provides students help to secure job opportunities. The highest package offered was INR 6.5 LPA, and the minimum package was around INR 1.2 LPA. 

PRIST University is a Tier 2 college. It is one of the top universities in Tamil Nadu offering B.Tech. The courses are somewhat more expensive than other universities. The placement opportunities are also less. The fee for the tuition for B.Tech at the university is 1 Lakh, per sem. The average package offered was INR 4 LPA which is not a good ROI. 

B.Tech program is the best course offered by PRIST University as it got 81 students placed which were maximum in this field followed by PG courses students. The Average package offered at PRIST University is 4.10 Lakh and in PG its almost same as 4.15 Lakh. Pg courses mainly inclused MBA , M.Tech and Msc . In Pg there were 24 student placed last year.

At PRIST University, getting into their B.Tech program doesn't always mean you have to tackle the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) exam hoop. Instead, you've got a couple of avenues to explore. 

You can opt to take JEE Mains. The university accepts JEE scores and Rankings. 

If you are not interested in JEE,  PRIST has its Entrance Exam which is PEE. 

In any condition any of the above tests are necessary. Without entrance, you cannot join B.Tech.

As per Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology Engineering and Management NIRF reports 2024, the median package offered during BTech and MBA placements 2023 stood at INR 4.34 LPA and INR 4 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 48 students were placed and 4 students opted for higher studies out of total 59 students during MBA placements 2023. Other than this, 159 students were placed and 21 students opted for higher studies out of total 198 students during BTech placements 2023. As per the official website of the university the placement percentage of 2016-17 was 84%. The maximum salary package offered by the university was Rs 6,50,000 per annum and the minimum was around Rs 1,20,000.
