What's new at PJTSAU? Application for admission into PhD for the AY 2022-23 is open and the last date for the same is Dec 17.

Admission to PhD programmes at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University is offered on the basis of candidates' performance in ICAR AICE JRF/SRF (PGS). PJTSAU offers 15 disciplines of research under PhD in Agriculture, Community Science and Agril. Engineering.

PJTSAU PhD Admission 2022

• Eligibility:
  • Candidates must have passed a four-year master's degree in a relevant discipline with at least 50% aggregate or  OGPA of 3.25 out of 4.00 point scale or OGPA of 7.50 or above in 10.00 point scale (OGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 7.00 out of 10.00 under Grade Point system is sufficient in grade point system for SC and ST candidates)
  • The upper age limit for admission into PhD shall be 40 years as on December 31 of the year of admission

Candidate's performance in the qualifying exam holds a weightage of 60% in the selection process and the rest depends on their academic merit (30% weightage for master's degree and 10% for graduation). More details around PhD admission are as follows:

NOTE: The University reserves 15%, 6% and 29% of seats in the PhD programme for SC/ ST/ Backward Class candidates, respectively.
