It has good infrastructure, the best faculty, and the best students.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students got placed on our campus. Placement went well this year. We got the highest package of around 6 lacs per annum, and the lowest about 3.5 lacs per annum. Apart from that, our university has good companies like Infosys, Quark, and H&R Block.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is working well, sometimes it's not. Labs are good. The library is the best place in the university. It's huge and has a very substantial book. Hostel facilities are not quite impressive, but yes, it is good as we can adjust and have better living there.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, supportive, and nice. Always dedicated to teaching us. The quality of teaching is high, and we have the best Ph.D. professionals who teach us different subjects. Yes, the curriculum was interesting and helped students to get industry-ready.

My experience at Punjabi University Patiala.
Placements: Approximately 50% of students got placed because some students don't want to get placement due to any further study or any other business. Top recruiting companies for our course are Infosys and Wireshark. The top role offered is software engineering. Around 25 companies visit the college during placements.
Infrastructure: There are good labs and classrooms. There is a big library, which has 4 floors and books can be issued. Wi-Fi is also available. Students have their ID and password to use it. Some canteens are available which serve good food and juices are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced here. There are 2 mid-semester exams and a final-semester exam. The difficulty level of exams depends on the syllabus and subject. The pass percentage is I think 33%. There are comparatively few curriculum activities. Teachers are friendly in nature, and we can ask our queries to them.
Other: I am interested in tech, so I chose this degree. Many events occur at our campus which are enjoyable. Scholarships are available for SC students who can't pay their fees, and this is a plus point for students who want to study, and can't afford it.

Absolutely waste of money unless you work on your own. They will not help you at all.
Placements: There are almost 300 students in computer science and engineering branch. Out of those only 60-70 students got on-campus placement. The highest package from the company is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Zoxima, Emicon, H&R Block, Quark, Sensation, Safeaon, Auxilobits, PiSoft, Rellins, YoungSoft, and many others. Roles provided by the companies are software developer and cyber security intern.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very bad and in poor condition. There is no projector in our class. Fans and switches don't work. Computers in our labs are of no use. They are very old and no new software can be run on the PC so, we are not teaching anything. Wi-Fi works somewhere but not everywhere. Faculty members are very poor and rude on our campus and hostel, they will not help you easily. The quality of food is disgusting, there are no hygiene practices and they charge a lot.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are actually helpful and have knowledge of their subjects. The same teacher is teaching many subjects because of lack of faculty members. They don't provide any study material. The course curriculum is not industry-ready. They teach very old topics. Exams are easy but sometimes they fail purposely just to get money as re-appear fee.
Other: My friend suggested me to join this campus. I don't remember any good things about the campus except my friends. I wish they provided the services for the money. They don't organise any event unless we please in front of them.

Events organised by the university are the best.
Placements: At Punjabi University Patiala, the placement rate is 85% in the last year. Students also got placed in top companies like Infosys as software engineers. The highest package is 7 LPA. Students do not get on-campus internships. If a student comes from a low background then this is the best university for them.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi in the hostel is good only, but on the whole campus, there is no Wi-Fi. Labs are not up to mark. Food in the mess is good and the price is also reliable. The quality of food according to price is right but cannot say good. The water problem is always there in a month in hostels.
Faculty: Semester exams are easy but the course curriculum is not updated. Teachers are not highly tech-experienced. Syllabus completion in class is not up to the mark and no new skills are being taught.
Other: The crowd at the university is too much. Events only occur once a year. The participation is very low. It does not look like a tech university but there are other events in other departments.

If you want to have exposure to different genres of minds, join here. Otherwise, don't expect much.
Placements: We need a placement director. Only 20-30% of students got placed. The highest package is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are poor labs. We have to use our own laptops. Funds could improve it. A more great environment is needed. Proper practices may be done. Wi-Fi is available but has a low speed. Labs and computers are 20 years old. Classrooms are good. They have initiatives for projectors. The library is the only place where we can study well in a quiet mood. ACs are good. The facility is open 24/7. There is a clean library. Security is well-versed and helpful. Hostels are quite pathetic. There are no basic necessities available on time. The food is horrible. They are good in rare times. The medical dispensary is good. For games, we have several grounds, which are well-equipped.
Faculty: Faculty is commendable. They give us a very great experience of learning. We have GDSC which helps us a lot. The course curriculum for some subjects is good but most of them lack industry demanding concepts. Exams are super easy. Rare subjects are used to scrutinise the best out of the subject.
Other: I chose this course as it is my family's profession and wanted to continue that. The best thing is that if you are a hardworking student, you can really get a return on investment. Improvement could be in framing the syllabus and more strict question papers. Sometimes, due to a bad crowd a very beautiful campus gets destroyed which hinders further events that need to be held prior.
