This university is absolutely worthy in terms of faculty, curriculum, sports, and infrastructure.
Placements: The placement cell in Ravenshaw University is amazing. Being a government college, the highest LPA they provide on campus is nearly 3-4 lakhs, and the fees are always less than that. The main placements are in self-finance courses, B.Com, B.A. Economics, and similar fields. The least amount in placement is 1.2 lakhs LPA.
Infrastructure: The course facilities are amazing for both UG and PG, as they provide a lot of honors in UG and many options for specialization in PG. The hostel facilities are also impressive compared to other government college hostels, and the food provided there is good. In total, there are 13 hostels—12 hostels inside the campus (6 for boys and the rest for girls) and one hostel outside the campus for boys.
Faculty: The faculty present here is really knowledgeable. Their commitment to making students learn is remarkable, which helps students to learn efficiently. The course curriculum is also good for the future of the students, as it prepares them for the industry due to its competitive environment. The semester exams are not that difficult if you study the course efficiently, and the passing percentage in every stream usually stays up to 75-80%.
Other: I would suggest this is one of the best colleges, where you can get great facilities. Moreover, campus life is amazing, and there are fests to enjoy during non-exam sessions. The campus is always active in extracurricular activities.

Ravenshaw: A heritage of learning.
Placements: Nearly 80 percent of people from our university got placements in EY Global and other companies like TATA. But as we have a government college, the on-site placements are not that prominent. We were required to prepare a CV to get enrolled in those companies but still, placement opportunities are limited.
Infrastructure: Our departments are very well built and especially they have high technological tools and machines. We have specialised E-Resource centres and labs to attend those specialised tasks. The food provided by our hostel is quite good and we too have many courts for sports activities.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly and knowledgeable, as they were graduated from top universities. Their teaching quality is very understanding and proficient. The semester exams are quite difficult and done very strictly, though after taking regular classes, one should not face any difficulty.
Other: The department is one of a kind and the course is both technical and theoretical. Being one of the most famous universities in Odisha, Ravenshaw attracts a large amount of students from different parts of Odisha. The campus life is quite fun with lots of events and everything.

The dream university- Ravenshaw.
Placements: Ravenshaw University provides placement facilities for chemistry, commerce, and IT and some other departments. The students who scored above 80% are eligible for placement. The package amount ranges from 3 to 10 lacs per annum. Companies like Mahindra, Tata, and ICICI Bank come for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Ravenshaw's overall infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges and universities I have ever seen, having a Kanika library, a big play ground, a canteen, and Wi-Fi facilities everywhere. There are 7 boys hostels and 5 girls hostels; each hostel has its own mess .
Faculty: Every professor and assistant professor have completed their studies at well-known institutes like JNU and BHU. They have a very interesting way of teaching so that you can understand every point of the topic. Semester questions come from outside, and the passing mark is 33%.
Other: I had an interest in geography from the beginning. And the subject is also so interesting from my point of view. About 8000 students study in Ravenshaw, and we provide all types of opportunities to students that help in all-round development.

Very good understanding university for graduation and good for sport also.
Placements: 70to 80 percent of students placed in my course. The lowest is 40 the highest is 80. Truth career agency, Srenix star private limited. Above 60 percent of students get internships from my course in companies like Srenix star private limited. Top roles like cartographer, geographer, urban planner, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities are available for us like Wi-Fi facilities, computer rooms, lab, AC classrooms, the library is also there. Facilities in our hostel are very good infrastructure and good hygienic conditions. Water facilities and rooms are clean. Food is quite good in the mess, medical facilities are also available, and games and sports are conducted regularly.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to us they are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is not so good. This course curriculum is relevant, yes it makes the student's industry read. The semester is not too difficult for me. The passing percentage is 33.
Other: I choose this course because of the UPSC exams. In this course, we study The structure of the earth and the interior of the earth. I have improved my practice in this course the cartography part. Events conduct regularly, the campus crowd is so much, connectivity is also good with new friends, campus surrounding is also good, scholarship is there, and extracurricular activities are also there.

I am satisfied with the facilities of the college.
Placements: No placements are provided for the normal geography honors course. No campus recruitment is available. One has to pursue a master's after UG to get into something good. Other courses like B.Com, BBA, ITM, DSM, and IST provide good campus recruitment. The annual salary package ranges from 3 LPA to 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is A1. Ranging from labs, libraries, classrooms, and Wi-Fi to studies. Air-conditioned rooms are available, not in every class but in some of them. Hostels facilities are too good. The rooms are good. The food served is good. They have gym, study room, badminton court, etc., in the hostels.
Faculty: The teachers at the university are highly educated and qualified. They are the books of knowledge. They guide us like a mentor and solve all our problems. They conduct doubt clearing classes if we ask for them. In short, each staff of the department is very helpful.
Other: I chose this course because I have heard a lot about it. I basically study integrated B.Ed with applied geography honours. Very few colleges provide this course so this was a win opportunity for me and so without giving a second thought I enrolled in this college. Ample extracurricular activities take place from building skills to sharpening of skills. Fests are also organised.

I am satisfied with the university.
Placements: Many MNCs come to recruit students from our college. The university conducts written tests and interviews. Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, and many more companies visit the campus for recruitment. Students also get placed in these companies, and the success rate of placement is very high. Overall the placement is quite good.
Infrastructure: In our college, classrooms are well-equipped with smart equipment, i.e., we have smart classes. The library on the campus is very good and has many books. Chemistry and physics labs are also well-equipped. Hostel facilities are also very good. Nutritious food is served. Sports and games are conducted at regular intervals.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified. They are helpful and quite knowledgeable. The teaching methodology is also good. They provide all the materials online. The course curriculum is very helpful for students and makes them quite competitive.

Satisfied because of good placements, faculty and facilities in the previous years.
Placements: Many companies come here to recruit students from different departments every year. Written exams and interviews are conducted for the selection process. Companion like TCS, Delloid and many other companies come to recruit the students. Almost 60% of the students are recruited every year.
Infrastructure: The labs in some departments are not fully functional and well occupied. The infrastructure of some of the hostels are very good and are spacious also. But the remaining are very congested and not clean also. The quality of food in the hostels is not upto the mark in every hostels.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable here. But in many departments there are a very few permanent faculty members as a result of which all the classes are not taken regularly. But the teachers are quite helpful enough. Now during the quarantine online classes were being conducted for the betterment of the students.
Other: I am doing B.Sc. in applied Geography but it was not there in the option so opted for B.A. It is a very rare course and also it is available in 3 govt. Colleges in the state. It has a wide range of scopes after the Masters degree also.
