Review of Ravenshaw University.
Placements: The strength of the students in our department of the college is 32. The course fee of the semester is almost under Rs. 5,000, including tuition fee. Many botanical fields like zoos and many botanical places provide placements here. There are no internships in this course. However, many Ayurvedic colleges and departments provide offers like higher study.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi-enabled labs and classrooms with air-conditioners. Our Kanika library is the biggest library in our district. Inside our campus, there are 4 ladies hostels and 6 boys hostels with an accommodation place. There is also a canteen named Cafe Coffee Day. There is a huge playground, where Ranji trophy is played.
Faculty: There are guest faculty members and permanent faculty members here. Professors and junior lecturers are very friendly like a guardian. This course offered many industrial tours like plants and botanical gardens. Exams are not difficult like semester exams. The pass percentage is above 80%-90%. Teachers are very helpful, well qualified and experienced with many years as professors.
Other: Many extra activities like fest, annual sports and helping hands are organised here.

Nice experience of life, wish to have back.
Placements: Placement in ravenshaw for graduate students is good since they get a good package without much investment and without much qualifications. They even get placed to nearer areas where cost of living is low. Good companies like Infosys, Wipro, Mahindra, etc. Used to come for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure. It has good decoram and ambiences. The college is too old but strong enough. The look is beautiful. They presence of lawn is an add on to the beauty of the university. It also provides hostels for both boys and girls. Food is also good as per hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching was good as all were experience holders and Ph.D. holders. They used practical examples to makes us understand. They used projectors to enhance the study. Being a graduate we were not given to industry exposure. The course is useful to know more about plants.

Academically, everything is good but it is not suitable for placements.
Placements: As this is an undergraduate course at university we won't get placed for it. Chances of getting placed increase once the student finishes their post-graduate. After post-graduation, they are working with OMFED, CRRI, and NISER and are getting into various reputed institutions for their PhD.
Infrastructure: There is fully functional Wi-Fi in libraries. We have AC and digital support in our library. Labs are well equipped with instruments. Classrooms are furnished and well-maintained. The food of the mess is manageable and it's average. There is a full-fledged working canteen on the campus. The campus has its own dispensary. For sports and games, we have an indoor stadium for the badminton and kabaddi. It has open gyms. There are cricket and football grounds volleyball and basketball courts. Many students have been actively participating in national-level and state-level competitions.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and skilled. The course curriculum is relevant for anyone having a keen interest in Botany. Semester exams are above average. The pass percentage is 70-80%. The course curriculum is not relevant, and it does not make students industry-ready. The teaching quality is above average.
Other: I chose this course because it makes us fall in love with the technicalities of the subject. Some infrastructure changes are expected in the department. The crowd is good enough. Fests and functions are the daily routine of the campus. The campus is lush green especially the 3 huge lawns which are best for the greenery of the campus.
