If you want to secure your career stay away from this university.

Placements: - I'm the student of B.Tech ECE from RIMT university. My passing out batch is June 2020. The strength of our class is 12. -As we are only 12 students in class out of which only two students got placed. One in extra marks and another one in a telecommunication company. -The highest salary was offered byju's Rs 10 LPA. And the lowest salary Rs2.5 LPA and the average salary Rs 3.5 LPA -Top recruiting companies visited our campus include. Amazon, Extramarks, and byju's. -To be very honest only a few roles were offered by our course that include workshop on machine learning, artificial intelligence, python and the time duration was of one week for these course's -The highest, the lowest, and average packages offered in our courses was 10LPA, 2.5 LPA, 3.5 LPA -none of the students got internship from our course.

Infrastructure: Our course offered us the internet access throughout the college hours. We can use the internet whenever we want. Project lab and computer lab is open throughout the day for students. -being a hosteler I would not recommend anyone to take hostel facilities in my university because fees are much expensive and they do not provide us with good food. We submit 7000 thousand per semester for AC facility but they only run AC from May to August. And talking about canteen we can have some sort of tasty food there. Canteen provides us with both veg and non-veg food. -Medical facilities are nill at the bottom and same with the sports and games. Sports department do not organise any kind of inter-college competitions accept volleyball and cricket.

Faculty: To be very honest teachers are not much qualified but are helpful. And talking about their knowledge and teaching quality I would like to give them 7 out of 10 marks. -Yes, you can go for this course but when you have such kind of qualified teachers who knows every bit of engineering and have both theoretical and practical knowledge and most importantly knows programming.

Other: I choose this course because I wish to be an electronics engineer but when I enter this university all goes in vain. The best things about my course are. We can go for hardware profession that include circuit designing, PCB designing etc. Or we can choose the software profession that include programming in various languages or we can end up choosing the telecommunication profession. -The things I wish would be better in my course include. Qualified faculty. Regular workshops, practical work one or two programmer faculty -events in my university occurs annual athletic meet, teachers day, techno fest (in which students can show their skills and talent), Munafa bazaar, etc. -Fests include -Freshers, hostel Dj night, Star night etc. -campus crowd is not so good as one wish to have -The campus surroundings are much polluted as there are several factories around the campus area. -Yes the college provide us 30% scholarship but if your annual family income is less than 2.5 Lacs -extracurricular activities include -Cricket, football, badminton, lawn tennis, basketball, volleyball etc.

They have a good infrastructure and a good placement record.

Placements: Placement will be on your own as the company picks only the quality. You cannot dream of a bright future if you do not have talent. The college, however, helps in getting placed as many named institutions as invited for the placement of the students. The companies are mainly Chandigarh based, and marketing jobs are offered more often.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-built, and the campus is Wi-Fi enabled at some places. There are well-built hostels and gym facility in the college. Each game's playground is available here, including the basketball, football, cricket, lawn tennis, badminton, table tennis and volleyball court. Also, the mess here provides good food.

Faculty: The faculty is well qualified, and they help a lot during the whole course. There is a strong book collection in the library and teachers are very helpful. You can easily get through viva and practice modules with the help of the faculty. Also, head of the departments, are mostly PhD holders.

A college that can fulfill your dreams towards excellency.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is very good and student-oriented. The companies signed MOU with the placement cell is also very good in nature. The average package that students get is 3 lakhs per annum. From my 2012 batch, numerous students got selected.

Infrastructure: There is a very lush green campus with well-equipped labs, classrooms and manufacturing workshops. The hostels are available for both male and female students with mess facility. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled with a very good kind of canteen facility available at affordable rates. The RIMT organises many kinds of seminars, workshops and training for the benefit of their students.

Faculty: The RIMT offers a vast range of courses that are available in different schools of the university. The faculty in each course were having great and deep knowledge in their respective streams and very oriented towards students for their overall growth during studies.

Dissatisfied because of the placement record of my batch in 2015.

Placements: On this factor, I would say RIMT is lagging behind. I graduated from the college in 2015 and only 40% of my total batch strength got placed in companies which is way below the satisfactory level. The visit of companies for placements on the campus is very less in most of the streams except companies for CSE students. Although I graduated in the electronics stream, I got placed in an IT company i.e. TCS, which shows almost no presence of core companies visiting the RIMT campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the whole campus is very good. They have their own petrol pump inside, two big cricket grounds, a soccer ground and a Wi-Fi facility which is very good across the whole campus. They have a very big area which has 2 engineering colleges, a college for architecture, college for business administration, a polytechnic college, a college for hotel administration and very large ground for sports to support 2 lawn tennis courts, 3 basketball courts, athletics and a gym. Overall, it is very good. Labs and classrooms are in very good conditions and the quality of food in both the cafeteria and the hostel mess are good. No infrastructure issues were there at least during my tenure of 4 years.

Faculty: I would say that the faculty team is not well-experienced, but the presence of some of the exceptional faculty members makes the college on this whole factor neutral. We have guest sessions from faculty members like ISRO scientists. One faculty member was working in Thales who visit us thrice in a month.

Other: I would say most of the things are good but certainly, what matters in the end is placements from the college itself and in that very scope, RIMT University lags way behind. I would not recommend it because, in my view, our whole career depends on our very first good job.

I am satisfied. A good place to study.

Placements: Placements were okay. Various companies came to our college for campus placement such as TCS, Infosys, etc. Our college arranges various industrial visits and also provide extra classes for the preparation of GATE or TOEFL for higher education. Various industrial meets happen in our college that provide the actual exposure of corporate to the students.

Infrastructure: Both indoor and outdoor games facilities are available. Food available was good in the institute. Apart from that, the classrooms and seminar hall are well-furnished. Overal. the infrastructure of the institute was good. Hostel rooms are clean and good. The kabs are good with availability of all the required equipment.

Faculty: The faculty members are really helpful. They guide the students and encourage them to publish new research papers. They support students for the higher education. They are ready to help whenever a student needs any help in terms of study or understanding. They are really knowledgeable. Apart from that, they use classroom technique for the teaching method. Various extra curriculum activities are also there, where students were encouraged to participate such as fest, college events, seminars, debates, etc.

Other: The campus is really cool. This is a very good place for pursuing your graduation and the fees structure is also feasible. Other than that, food, infrastructure, and extra curricular activities are really good and help to engage the students. Overall, I am satisfied.

If you want to waste your time and money, only then join this college. 3/5 stars.

Placements: Placement opportunities are less in our college and they do not provide any pre-placements training. There is no facility of aptitude test preparation for clearing the mandatory stage of any placement. It has the worst guidance for placement and they do not help anyone for the upcoming placements in nearby locations.

Infrastructure: I give 3/5 stars. The lab facilities are also satisfactory but not up to the mark as some of the instruments are not working, and they are very old. Drinking water facilities are also not up to the mark. The library facilities are not satisfactory as it is very hard to finds books related to the course.

Faculty: The faculty team is not technically sound. Most of the faculty members are freshers and they do not have an idea about the courses, so, how can they guide anyone for the better future. Sometimes, the main course is not fully completed by the teacher in a semester. No extracurricular activities are performed as well.

Other: If you wanna go for another course after btech,then i will suggest you to join the college coz of less fees otherwise you can go for better options having way better placement and other facilities.IET campus has better staff than MAEC staff and I'll say maec hardly have staff ,i myself was taught by only two ,atmax three teachers.

Other: Hello everyone RIMT-IET (Regional Institute of Management and Technology is a very great college under PTU campus. The infrastructure is too broad and the faculty of the college is very co-operative and well educated. All staff of the college is very humble, kind natured and helpful.
