Placements: The placement record of SBU has been quite promising in recent years. Around 75%-80% of students across courses like B.Tech, BCA, MBA, and BBA manage to secure jobs through campus recruitment. The highest package reported has gone up to 16 LPA-25 LPA, while the average package usually stays around 5 LPA-6 LPA. The lowest packages are generally in the 3 LPA-3.5 LPA range. These figures vary depending on the course and batch, but overall, placements are considered good compared to many private universities in the region.

Infrastructure: The university has good infrastructure with Wi-Fi, library, and classrooms. Hostel rooms are spacious and clean, and medical help is available. Mess food could be better, but it is manageable. Sports facilities are decent, giving students enough options for recreation.

Faculty: The faculty at Sarala Birla University is supportive and qualified. Teaching quality is good with a focus on practical learning. The curriculum is updated and industry-oriented. Exams are moderate in difficulty, and with regular study, most students score well and pass easily.

Little dissatisfied with attitude but provides a better job recommendation.

Placements: 80% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Aditya Birla Group, TCS, etc. Roles offered in my course are accountant, financial analyst, accounts executive, etc. The highest package is 16 LPA, with the average package of 5 LPA. 80% of students opt for placement, while 40% of students get direct internships.

Infrastructure: Facilities are well-equipped with a library, modern labs, and big hostel accommodation. The quality of the food is above average and sports and games competitions are done on a regular basis about 4-5 in a month. Many big shots are also invited in the programs held by this college.

Faculty: Although teachers are a little rude. They have a good teaching ability, and they'd better help in your studies by taking extra classes sometimes. Course curriculum is relevant and it keeps students industry well-prepared. The semester exams are a little tough, and the pass percentage is 35%.

Other: I chose this course on the basis of personal interest, and the best thing about my course is studying financial developments. I wish the teacher's attitude would improve. All the events and activities are well-prepared.

Excellent infrastructure and the curriculum.

Placements: As I am pursuing B.Com hons. I find that my university is providing us knowledge from basic so that non-commerce students don't find different to understand. As of placement this year, companies like EY, TCS, Deloitte, Leap, ICICI, Godraj, and many big companies have drdriventudents from our college.

Infrastructure: They have structured the course so comprehensive that we get every knowledge which should be provided to a commerce students. As I am a local student, I don't know much about the hostel but through my friend, I get to know it is decent and what you expect from a hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and always ready to support you with your curriculum. I don't think this course makes a student industry-ready as it also depends on students' skills and knowledge. We give 2 exams in 1 semester I. e mid-semester and end-semester. Exams are moderate not so easy not so hard as all topics are already discussed in class.

Campus review which should be put in public.

Placements: Not the bulk of students, but a decent number of students are being recruited through the campus selection method. Internships are not provided by the college; for that, we will have to work, which the college won't provide. Infosys and a greater number of good companies are being called upon by the college for campus selection.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, good labs, a good library, a good hostel, average quality food from the mess, and even a good canteen facility. The price range is also pretty average. Spots are also kept in mind, and so they offer us good sports events each year, which is a good thing.

Faculty: Very helpful faculty, and good quality education is provided. A good environment is provided by the faculty; even though exams are not that hard, it's pretty decent for the students, even if you study a little. Study material is provided, and even important questions are provided.

Other: I had to get a specialisation degree in accounts, so I chose this course. The technical area should improve. Not a lot of events, but yes, college offers events, and even we can actively participate in sports events.

Sarala Birla University, Ranchi.

Placements: More than 80% of the students who opted for placement were placed. The highest was 7 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. TCS and ICICI were the top recruiters for my batch. Almost all of the students got internships. I don't know about the others, but I got an internship in a Mahindra Dealership. I was offered a role of Accounts Executive during my internship.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch with Wi-Fi, labs, smart classes, and library. I was not enrolled in the hostel, so I cannot talk about it. But the canteen and other facilities are good and affordable, except for transportation which, for me, was a little expensive.

Faculty: The student-faculty ratio is optimum and creates a highly academic environment. The faculty is more than qualified. You can approach the professors during their free period or lunchtime. Overall, the university has excellent staff and teaching personnel.

Other: There are many events held at the University such as Sports Week, Talent Hunt, Debate Competition, Elocution, Food Fest, etc. The library is huge and has mostly all the books a student might need for academics. The technological aspect of the University is up-to-date as all the classrooms have smart classes installed. There are many clubs such as Shutterbugs for photography, Literary Club, Arts Club, etc.

If you want to play with your career then come to SBU.

Placements: I am not satisfied with the placement drive. No internship support is provided by the college. A maximum of 20% of total students are getting placed on campus with an average salary of 3 LPA. Many good companies refuse to come for placement drives since college is not AICTE-approved yet.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not provided to even IT department students. The quality of the food is acceptable but the menu needs to be changed because one cannot eat the same food every week. Washing machines are not provided to hostel students. Students can opt for paid laundry services.

Faculty: The teacher-to student ratio is too small. One teacher is supposed to teach multiple subjects. Exams are conducted frequently. All the good teachers are leaving the college. The curriculum is outdated. Students are not getting ready for industrial-ready skills.

Other: Sports are only focused on annual sports. Fests are not conducted. The course duration is too short.

SBU is a well-known college in Ranchi, and studying there is also good.

Placements: Our college has tie-ups with big companies, and placement also comes in our college. If the student has a good grade in his or her college time, placement will get them easily from top recruiting companies like TCS, Birla Group, Adani Group, Tata, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very big and has a lush green campus. Classrooms are good enough for students, and everything that students need is available on campus, like a library, canteen, sports field, mess, and transport facilities.

Faculty: Yes, all teachers are well qualified, experienced, and friendly with students. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are normally given if a student studies, and then they will easily be able to pass the exam. The passing percentage of students is 70.

Other: I chose B.Com. because, in the future, I have decided to do work-related business. There are only a limited number of students in one class, so studying is good to gain the proper knowledge that every student deserves. A little bit of discipline is needed, though.

It is a good private college.

Placements: Placements are good in our college. All students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered by an MNC is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Many companies visit our college. Top roles offered are sales manager, marketing manager, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. Our college has good buildings with all the basic facilities. All classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and other facilities. Mess and canteen offer hygienic food. Sports facilities are not up to the mark. They are decent.

Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified. They solve all our doubts. The course curriculum is outdated. It makes students industry-ready. Exams are easy. We can pass mid-semester and final semester exams.
