Overall good. It is well-disciplined and strict regarding studies, especially attendance.
Placements: Many internship and placement opportunities are regularly updated in the college placement group. Usually, there are around 30 to 40 opportunities, but this year the number is lower. ICICI is a good company that visits the college and provides good opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, greenery, and large, spacious classrooms. There are spacious playgrounds for different sports, three canteens, and huge parking areas that require a gate pass. Drinking water and washroom facilities are good. Overall, college campus is nice and peaceful.
Faculty: Faculty is good and very strict regarding attendance, discipline in classes, and studies. The teaching quality is good. The exams are a bit difficult. Good students who work hard manage to get a 9 CGPA. This requires focused studying. Students are expected to write a proper answers of around 300 to 400 words for a 15-mark question.
Other: I am from a commerce background, so I chose B.Com. I wish college were less strict regarding attendance. They gave more flexibility to students with uniforms, such as including shirts and hoodies as options. Students should also be allowed to wear footwear and trousers of their choice. It helps them feel more relaxed while studying instead of wearing stiff shirts, pants, and formal attire.

Best to start your future.
Placements: 30 percent of students got placed from my college. Companies like Wipro, Genpact, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, etc., hire every year. Approximately 70 percent of students get internships. Roles offered are an analyst and a taxation role. Our college helps us to prepare for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, library, food canteen, and hostel are available for students who are from the SC/ST region. Good food is available. We have a football area, basketball area, and badminton court. Our canteen has every kind of food, such as dosa, chat, kachori, and beverages.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified, they help us to prepare for the exams and the job. B.Com helps students to get prepared for job roles related to Tally, taxation, and makes us confident so that we can be confident in front of recruiters, and this also helped me get selected.
Other: College is best for B.Com and BBA students.

I'm not satisfied with my college because of the faculty, placement, infrastructure, facilities, etc
Placements: Around 20-30% of students are placed in our college, and I don't know the highest package, but the lowest package is around 2 lakh to 2.5 lakh. The top recruiting companies that come to our college are Deloitte, TCS (Tata Consultancy Services), ICICI Bank, etc.
Infrastructure: Thera are various facilities provided in our college like Wi-Fi, computer labs, library, and classrooms. The quality of food and canteen is very bad and unhygienic, the video is viral on Instagram, you can watch there. There is a playground where you can play football, volleyball, and basketball, and there is sports room.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching is good, but the course is not good. You should score a minimum of 40 marks to pass the exam. If you fail in any exam, you have to give a retest, for which you have to pay Rs. 1,000, then only you can give the test.

Absolutely satisfied and value for money. Must go for it.
Placements: The type of roles allotted are of auditing or an accountant in companies. More than 90% of students get the placements. The highest package is around 4.5 LPA, whereas the average is 2.5 LPA. Top companies like Wipro and TCS come for recruitment on the campus.
Infrastructure: Hotel facilities are only for boys and rest all the facilities are being provided to the students. More than 2-3 libraries are present for self-study. Game room and gym are provided for extra curriculum. Cafeterias are situated in various places of the college which takes care of the hygiene of students.
Faculty: Teacher are very helpful. The teaching quality is the best in entire Ranchi and it helps to learn a lot. Semester exams are moderate but need dedication to get through. They just help to check the IQ and knowledge of the students. The curriculum provided helps us to get the best knowledge about our field.

My review on St Xavier's College, Ranchi.
Placements: St. Xavier's College, Ranchi offers placement to very minimum students about 20%-30% of students got placed every year with an average package of 1.90 LPA. Companies like TCS, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Accenture, Cognizant, and many more companies offer placement. College offers internship opportunities from the second year.
Infrastructure: There is a hostel available at St. Xavier's College, Ranchi but there is hostel available only for boys. College has three hostels A, B, and C block. College infrastructure is quite good as the college offers many things on small acres of land. College provides 3 cafeterias, 2 big grounds for sports, 2 basketball courts, many libraries, water facilities, and clean toilets.
Faculty: Faculty members of St. Xavier's College, Ranchi are friendly, highly experienced, and qualified. As college is autonomous the courses offered by college are so tough that make students ready for the future. There are four exams in a year, 2 mid-sems and 2 end-sems. About 80% of students passed the exam.
Other: Fee of St. Xavier's College, Ranchi are very affordable. When I was admitted to B.Com, the fee was Rs. 33,000, but in 2024 fee increased to Rs. 42,900. There is a discount for reserved categories students and scholarships are also available for them.

Truly speaking, taking admission to St. Xavier's Ranchi is worth it.
Placements: 86-87% of students got placed in various commerce companies. The highest package given to a student is 19 LPA. The lowest is 7 LPA. The average is around 12-14 LPA. Policy Bazaar, banking institutions, etc., visit the college. Approximately 85% of students have done their internships in Deloitte, etc.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is excellent and built with unlimited Wi-Fi and smart boards with highly qualified professors. Labs are provided for students who want to gain knowledge in taxation and rally. The hostel is well-maintained. The canteen offers tasty and hygienic food at an affordable price. There is a separate rest room for girls.
Faculty: Teachers and professors are highly qualified and very helpful to students. They support other activities. The course curriculum is very good. Semester exams are generally moderate. They are not too tough. The pass percentage of students is 97%.
Other: I chose this course because I further want to pursue an MBA. This course is quite economical. Regular internships can improve the ability of students and hence the course. A lot of events and fests are arranged for students.

Best college because of campus, faculty, etc.
Placements: In my batch, around 30% of students were placed. The highest package was 3.5 LPA, the lowest was 1.5 LPA, and the average was 2.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS, Wipro, and HDFC. Approximately 50% of students secured internships, with placements in companies like Cognizant, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the B.Com course at st xavier's college Ranchi includes wi-fi, well-equipped labs, modern classrooms, and a library with extensive resources. Hostels offer basic facilities with clean rooms and the canteen serve decent foods. Medical facilities are available on campus.
Faculty: The faculty at St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, is helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with a strong teaching quality. The B.Com curriculum is relevant, preparing students well for the industry. Semester exams are moderately challenging. The exam patterns are average.
Other: I chose B.Com at St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, because this college stands first in rank in commerce in Jharkhand. Everything here is good. There are many events that have happened and the campus is so beautiful.

Get to know SXC in a better way.
Placements: The placement package is generally near 2–2.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Bajaj Finance, Reliance, and Vedanta come for recruitment. Job roles offered are mainly in the fields of marketing, sales, and management. Also, during your last semesters, you will get different internship opportunities as well .
Infrastructure: The classrooms are big and spacious. Smart boards are available as well. The college wi-fi connection is good. The library is very accessible; you can come and study whenever you want without any disturbance. Our college only has boys hostel and our college has 3 canteens, all with good-quality food. We have sick room and a games room as well.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful if you are invested in your studies. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable people. The curriculum is very relevant as it has accountancy, business studies, entrepreneurship, etc. As subjects, which are obviously going to be helpful in future. Exams aren't that tough; study properly and get good grades.
Other: This course was chosen by me because I am interested in this field and it will be helpful in my future. We just have one complaint: the college does not arrange fests at all; it has been 4-5 years since they had one. Small events are organized by clubs and NSS where you can participate.
