Sardar Patel University BCom Courses & Fees 2024: Admission (2024), Application Process

Candidates willing to apply for the BCom course at Sardar Patel University must have a valid qualification. The BCom course admission is open for the academic year 2024. The BCom programme is offered by the university and its affiliated colleges/institutions. The admission procedure may vary across the affiliated colleges. However, the common SPU admission procedure includes the application process, selection process, merit lists, and final admission.

Step 1: SPU BCom Application Process 2024

For admission to the affiliated colleges candidates must apply via their respective websites. However, applicants can also apply via the Gujarat Common Admission Service (GCAS) portal for admission to SPU. Candidates must follow the steps to apply via the GCAS:

Step 1.1: Visit the official website of GCAS:

Step 1.2: Now register with a valid email and mobile number. The username and password will be sent to the relevant Email ID and Contact Number.

Step 1.3: Students must login to access the online application form. Select the college/institute that you want to apply to.

Step 1.4: Fill out the application form with all the required details.

Step 1.5: Students must make the SPU BCom application fee of INR 300 payment through the provided payment gateway link.

Step 2: Selection Process

The BCom selection process mainly includes valid scores in the last qualifying exam. However, some of the affiliated colleges of SPU accept national-level exams such as NEET, for admission to its four-year BCom course. Therefore, candidates must check out the BCom selection criteria before applying for the course.

Step 3: Merit Lists

SPU and its affiliated colleges/institutes create separate merit lists for the students. The merit list might be sent via emails to the students. Based on the merit list, the chosen student will visit the University/ College for document verification and fee submission.

Step 4: Final Admission

Candidates must visit the SPU campus or the affiliated college campus (per their choice) to verify the documents and pay the Sardar Patel University BCom fees. The fee range from INR 5,600 to INR 3,900 (tuition fee).

Sardar Patel University offers multiple government scholarships to provide financial assistance as a fee waiver. To access the scholarships, candidates must get officially admitted to SPU or its affiliated colleges. Some of the SPU scholarships offered are as follows:
