Saveetha University MBA Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Admissions Process, Placements

The SIMATS MBA course admission is based on the candidate's score in TANCET/ CAT/ XAT scores, followed by a PI round. For the application process, candidates can choose to apply online or offline mode for Saveetha University admission. Check out the step-wise application process below:

Step 1: Saveetha University MBA Application Process 2025:

Step 1.1: Visit the official website of SIMATS (saveetha.com).

Step 1.2: Click on the link ‘Admission’.

Step 1.3:Fill out the admission inquiry form by providing the basic details, such as name, email address and MBA specialisation.

Step 1.4: After filling out the inquiry form, candidates will receive an OTP on their registered number. From the top candidates can build their candidature to log in and fill out the application form.

Step 1.5: In the next step, Fill in all the required details and upload a scanned copy of the candidates' signatures and passport-size photographs.

Step 1.6: Pay the Saveetha University MBA application fee via credit/ debit card or through net banking or challan.

Below is the offline step-by-step process of application at SIMATS:

Step 1.1: Visit the admission office of SIMATS Chennai. Note: The candidates along with the parents/ legal guardian should report to the university during working hours of the admission office i.e., 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Step 1.2: Obtain the prospectus along with the application form attached by paying the application fee in cash or DD drawn in favour of Saveetha University.

Step 1.3: Follow the instructions mentioned in the prospectus to fill out the application form.

Step 1.4: Send the duly filled and signed application form to the official address.

Step 2: Document Submission

In the online application process, candidates can attach their relevant documents at the time of filling out the form, while in the offline application process, candidates are required to submit a hard copy of all relevant documents after filling out the application form. Some of the important documents are:

• Class 10 mark sheet and passing certificate
• Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate
• Passport size photograph
• Aadhar Card
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Entrance examination Scorecards
• Graduation Marksheet

Step 3: Interview Round

Candidates who got selected in the merit list on the basis of their scores in entrance examination, the university will conduct the interview round for further selection.The interview round is the final selection process for the MBA course, who got selected in the merit list and interview can proceed with the admission confirmation.

Step 4: Admission Confirmation

Shortlisted students can secure a seat in the course after paying an adequate amount of the course fee. The total tuition fee for an MBA at Saveetha University is INR 7 lakh. This fee amount is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

Saveetha University offers different types of scholarships to its MBA and other course students. SIMATS scholarships are available in the form of fee concessions, relief in tuition fees, free ships, etc. Additionally, the university claimed that the average percentage of students who benefited from scholarships /free ships/ fee-waivers by Government/ Non-Governmental agencies/Institutions during the last five years is 40.75%. 1: Merit Scholarships to Overall Subject Toppers

• First Position: 40% of the total tuition fee waiver.
• Second Position: 30% of the total tuition fee waiver.
• Third Position: 20% of the total tuition fee waiver.
• Fourth Position: 15% of the total tuition fee waiver.
• Third Position: 10% of the total tuition fee waiver.

2. 75% Fees Scholarship for Students with 90% and above marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths

Saveetha University also provides free education to the weaker section of society. The eligible students are admitted to the course without paying the admission fees, hostel fees and tuition fees.
